TOPIC: [TS3] Roy Harper - Demotion Appeal

I would have objected if I were in that meeting, but I was busy with a TTT staff situation that required my attention. Besides that I didn't realize you got an official last month so I didn't think there was any reason to be concerned.

Countless of people use a soundboard, and each and every one of them is more annoying than the last. I didn't even realize you used one yourself until you were put up for demotion.

Are we seriously going so low to demote people for not listening to us when we ask them to do something when owners, community managers and lead team members are constantly using soundboards to cry for attention that their parents seemingly aren't giving them themselves?

Pathetic, in my honest opinion. Either give everyone an official or nobody - but demoting someone for it is the absolute bullshit.

Uhm, excuse me? I, for one, have never used a soundboard in any way, shape or form - and you're excusing a TOU breach by saying "Oh, but everyone does it, so it's fine" and then you demote someone else?

As for the not listening part, I believe that warrants an official, not a demotion.

EDIT: Oh, about that bolded text, that was unnecesary as well. Though I do absolutely despise soundboards, there was no need to degrade my fellow staff in such a way.

People just troll in meetings so why should roy get demoted? all the higher ups should get demoted for not discussing applications, just trolling and playing memes all over the place.

If not accepting this and giving the rank back, then atleast explain in detail why.

If I didn't know any better i'd think Roy is just a bad troll not taking his staff duties seriously when I see this topic, and tbh Roy has never come off as a guy who's like that to me.
So as a bystander to this I'm a little confused.

- Edit: In my opinion, you guys should announce stuff like this on the meeting outcome with the nessecary details on the subject.
That would clear up a lot of confusion as to why things turn out the way they do.
I mean you guys didn't even mention a demotion on there.
So I don't think using a minute or two extra on the outcome would be a bad idea.

So about the whole "not stopping when told to" thing. Howcome a few weeks back in an SSRP meeting that Roy was hosting, he told 2 HA's to stop using soundboards and they continued throughout the meeting delaying it and just being annoying. Roy asked for them to be moved and not come back and yet they did. If he is getting demoted for this then why didn't they??

I am not sure if it is a rule but, just make it so that you need permission from everyone in the spacer to use a sound board and this goes for CM+ especially so it is a fair rule.

For those that were not bothered to read, the demotion itself is not just for using a soundboard - the other reason is not listening to higher ups. I believe the 2nd reason should only warrant an official warning, which I am totally fine with as I know what I've done wrong. However, what added onto that is the use of a soundboard, which should have never been brought up given that higher ups do it themselves. Keeping in mind it is against the TOU, either everyone gets punished for it or nobody does and we all disable them.

For those saying I go over the line with a soundboard, you are very wrong. My soundboard does not include earrape like some others, just some short/funny sounds or clips which a good amount of people laugh to. People that have said I go over the line have NEVER told me to stop, anyway.
