Apologize for what? I've got nothing against the word "spook" nor have I ever heard of its racist use in the US before today, but if people feel offended by it (don't forget that a user did report someone because they didn't appreciate the apparently racist name) then I don't see why we should allow such things to occur. If there's any issue I have with it it's the fact that it's seemingly got some kind of priveleged position, as you aren't allowed to say the N-word no matter what but you are allowed to say the word "spook" seemingly.

A vote won't change the fact that people are offended and have reported users for it.

So because one user reported it that completely overrules the opinions of MANY community members who have been here longer and some of which are staff? Seems a bit silly to me and the community should matter the most imo.

Who told you that Morgan is responsible for refund requests? Refuns can only be given by community managers for server sided issues and your issue is not server sided. Thats the server rules and it has been that way for more than 3 years. Your fault for failing to follow them.

Here is my view on the situation. The word itself is clearly offensive to SOME people and other people don't even know it is racist (me). Both people in my gang that have this word in their name are from the UK so most likely like me they also didn't know about it being racist. I agree with akemi here. Both people use this name in the zarp community as a standard role-play name. So this should not be voted upon my just the SSRP lead team. I think that their are three options. They are as followed:

-Either let the community managers deal with it and ONLY them.

-Let the community vote on this as it affects the entirty of the community and it would be justified as there are just as many people who take offence to this as the amount of people who find the word meaningless.

-Let the entire lead team vote on this (SSRP, Deathrun, Bhop, TTT, Murder, TS, Prophunt)

This is my opinion, so let it be that.

As stated I am neutral on the topic. This doesn't allow me to anwser as I would. But we can for sure all agree on that the N word is racist. That is the reason why it's prohibited. On Spook there are very different community opinions. It's easy to be ofended by something, thats the problem.

Lol not only that but he also got ripped off for it. 120m for something that doesnt even look that appealing.
