I'm a very strong advocate for free speech but I'm also a very strong advocate for people being treated equally and fairly. I personally think the "no tolerance" rule is bullshit and an infringement on free speech but I still have to follow the rules like every other member of the community.

I can 100% guarantee if I went on Teamspeak and called a staff member the n word I would instantly be banned for at least a week, why should he get special treatment simply due to his past work. If anything he should be getting a harsher punishment than a normal user since he is staff, his job is to uphold the rules and set an example for the rest of the community not to break them. If it were up to me he would not be punished at all and the "no tolerance rule" would be removed but the rule is in place whether we like it or not and so he should be expected to follow it and to be punished when not following it.

Where is the equal accountability policy when we need it. Important presidences being set here

You are using the word bias but I don't think you know what it means, if you want the equal accountability policy in place then you would actually be a supporter of this punishment as arguing with the punishment means you are suggesting that he should be given a lighter punishment than any other member of the community.

I myself have broken the racism rule multiple times in the past on multiple servers and have been punished for it and waited out my punishments, once again I see no reason why SyStem should be exempt from this.

Had you read my other comments you would also get that demotion is more comperable to permanent ban (which is not given in the case of racism) rather than any other punishment user can get.

And you can twist my words however you want but the thesis of my comment you quoted was that either you dempte everyone who discriminate on a single instance or no one

I remember when onion sent a CM a video of a 12-year-old fucking a dead bird (I don't have proof of it because he didn't send me that video I was only delighted with hearing the CM's discomfort from watching the video) first of all that could get said CM (I won't say who in-case he doesn't want to talk about it) in trouble as the video counted as child pornography onion didn't even get a talking to for it (at least within my knowledge). If he is mature enough to send someone a video of a 12-year-old fucking a dead bird he can definitely tolerate someone calling him the N-word. I'm not saying what System did is okay but demoting him because of onion's age is extreme.

If i was you i wouldnt start throwing damaging stories around if you dont have proof

Okay, I think more than enough has been said on this thread. We will review this appeal in the next Teamspeak meeting at the end of the month. SyStem, if you have anything else to say, don't feel afraid to make a final statement or open this thread again for further discussion.
