I think you should add something like the edf for gangsters to use, GamerGuy made a suggestion about it a long time ago, the terroriser suit would be a perfect fit for something like the edf for gangster to use, can't rip it and gives you some more health and armor to start with, small upgrades like this that you can work towards will feel rewarding to players.

honestly just need some sort of counterpart for gangsters with similar stats because cops get fucking ridiculous advantages:

1. edf/gedf - completely risk-free 200/200 or 400/400 with the only downside being u cant use other suits
2. armory free special weps
3. baton rushing - slam jumping baton rushing has become way too widely used and theres literally 0 counterplay other than zzzzzz crack house nukes

all while having the ability to use the exact same items as gangsters

Maybe I can spin this off with op drugs?

i mean i like the idea but it's still the concept of police putting in 10x less effort/risking nothing in order to reap similar rewards, there needs to be a permanent suit or something similar imo

Aside from the GEDF issues one of the major parts of SSRP that made me stay back in the day was crafting, mining feeling more interactive and crafting feeling so much more valuable and worth the time it consumed to do so.

I would absolutely love a bunch of new craftable items that reward players no matter what their progress on the server is. I feel like suggestions such as the one I made recently giving players a boost in growing items would be a good addition to the server because although it can end up introducing more money into the economy it can be done in such a way that it was worked for without being AFK for hours on end.

I've been trying to think of other things you could implement into the crafting system also but so far have come up blank.

Seriously man we’ve been all fucking saying this for the longest time Chute doesn’t fucking care about any of that shit he just cares if his servers running and he’s making $. Give us what we’ve been asking for the last few fucking years and maybe this server wouldn’t be so shit, teleporting? Invisible? 2000 HP wtf? Just give us old fashioned aim battles but a balance for kids who use moms credit card for 100 booster packs. Replace the suits in people’s inventory with a good estimate gem/cash balance (both not just one so no one gets 100 bil) to satisfy the kids who blew their moms pay check on booster packs, but also give us the satisfaction of being able to raid a fucking base without mummy suits and shit.

You guys always say “let’s improve the server what do you guys want” we’ve been fucking telling you for year Jesus Christ, stop fucking complaining that the server is dying and actually put in some effort to at least ATTEMPT to give majority of the loyal players who were basically the foundation of this servers player base. The new ones can learn and adapt, majority of your players who come back are people who have been around since the old days. Fucking attempt a vanilla server and just watch the player base rise stop being so stubborn and trying to come up with new fucking flammable suits and shit just attempt something new not a suit being revamped. Fuck

One of the problems i see with this is that new players, and newer players than you actually enjoy the suits. I have been around a fair while (Nothing compared to some) and when i joined, there was no EVO's or Mummies. However there were other suits, but i still saw actual raiding with skill, tguns and drugs. I feel like some suits were okay, however they took it too far and its gone past the point of return. The suits are fun and were one of the main qualities of the servers.

mummy made it even worse its literally unrippable if someone just have 1IQ, its the worst idea chute have ever had to be honest.

ACS Nano and Jug weren’t bad, everything else was *non discussable mental disorder* istic

The hyper was literally almost one tappable but after evo was the server did go very down hill

You can only obtain the case from the daily server event and by winning events. There's also still a chance that it doesn't show up at all. During the day that event is active. You can't get it from leveling up in the PD anymore so it's perfectly fine.

Removing it from the case doesn't stop the fact there's already a lot in the economy.

I personally think the best year of Zarp was 2014, but I did really enjoy 2015 and 2016 too, now I feel like there's just too much shit on the server, which some people enjoy because there's a lot of items to get but I think there's a little too many special weapons and suits for my liking that's why I don't enjoy playing as it's overwhelming in a bad way imo.	narexa Offline Divine Boarder Posts: 8287 Thanks received: 4844 Karma: 252

Yeah ngl I loved the crafting system and quests when I first joined maybe some new materials, items specifically for mining and maybe a new ore we will have to see

To be fully honest, I haven’t played in a good few months but I doubt it’s any different than it was then.

The good old days, where raiding a base actually felt like an accomplishment, and fighting with svu’s and psg’s was a race to see who could tap who’s head first.

It was exhilarating.

But now, here we are. Everyone has more money than the fucking US government, with essentially limitless - what I’d consider to be “end game” items. I’m talking the shit that made you try zarp in the first place. You want to build up to that, but you really can’t right now.

I want to enjoy the game again, because I really do enjoy it when it’s executed right.

I’ll think of some good suggestions.

about the Gedf, in my opinion, it should be nerfed asap, the suit is too op just remember back then when the edf came out and everyone was complaining out how it doesn't die well the thing is we got used to it within time so we moved on but when the Gedf came out that's when things started going out of hands I mean just look at the last montage that I made at the end of it i keep shooting a cop until I am out of ammo and he still doesn't die, the problem is simply with the armor I mean how could you penetrate a 400 armor suit with normal guns plus continue with the action to kill other cops, that's basically impossible since as soon as you kill a Gedf you run out of ammo so have to reload and that is a death wish in a fight, so i would say make it 300hp - 250armor, or make it 200hp - 200armor and add a special ability using f3 which could be a bump of a 100hp - 100armor added to your current hp and it's only one time use until you die again idk something like that.

As much as I like blowing up bases, I think for newer players this is the worst part of playing. I feel things like the HC and most of the very pricey explosive weapons need to be tuned down in some ways, because atm its practically impossible to base as a new player without having your entire base deleted then getting rushed by a suit.

While I think these items are definitely rewarding to eventually get, so you too can blow up new players bases. I think they just put up a blockade of progress that doesn't allow people to feel like the time spent printing, making drugs, etc valuable.

I think ways around this are just having more opportunities to make SMALL amounts of cash very quickly. Having new players being able to have an option to get M202s, Orbs, etc fairly quickly might make them want to stay and work their way up to a HC or Gluon.

In my opinion, I would just buff the normal + vip printers, and make more interactive ways to make cash to keep up a solid engagement rate.

The idea of putting in time to see a decent reward is something that I feel could very heavily help ZARP keep a decent flow of newer players. I saw quests be mentioned to be redone and I think that idea is a very good one as well

You lose edgy/gedf when you die, make gedf obtainable but make it quite rare to obtain from pd cases (Police specific daily objectives??) and edf more common to obtain from BP case/golden vault day so people have to spend money for dying in those suits and creates a risk when it comes to using them than swallowing a bunch of headshots let alone the awful hitreg aside too sometimes. Cops can already rent items for free whilst also using special suits and other tools like arresting so this does not make police unbalanced and can still perform what everyone else can do except using drugs such as morphine.
