TOPIC: [SSRP] Spectrum's Demotion Appeal

Punishment Reason - Failing to commit to the given sanction of be active throughout the week and show a consistently good attitude or something of the sort
Server - SSRP
Story/Situation - Prior to my revoked resignation I was given a sanction for my attitude on the server, after revoking my resignation I said that I understand that the sanction is still in place however I am starting uni on the 28th and finding some enjoyment in actually socialising with people which I would think would be understandable considering the shit going on in the world. I said that my activity will drop a bit but ill still try get on and I am easy to contact when needed by a member of staff assuming that im not sleeping which unfortunately over the past week my sleep schedule hasn't been the best and ive been struggling to sleep. considering the sanction, my activity wasn't the best as you can see here:

the 600 minutes I was only actively there for about 2-3 hours.
During the week I spoke with someone after they asked if ill be on tonight, after speaking for a bit I said that I usually hop on during the day and im quite easy to contact during the week and even if I wasnt on the server every day, I was at least on teamspeak during the day every day this week. I haven't had any issues with my attitude at all during the week, the only sort of attitude issue that I had was when speaking with said staff member I said that I don't really want to do an event, during the conversation I saidwhich I still stand by.
During the conversation I also said that I don't have as much motivation to go on the server as I have been waiting for the update and that I get quite bored on the server as people weren't really doing much on the server and I didn't feel like doing an event for the reasons belowwhich could have been a wrong comment, admittedly

Extra Information - I would hope that it would be taken into consideration how much time I have spent helping out would be considered at the very least, not really being on inactivity, helping out where I can and over the past week or 2 I have simply found myself a bit more busy IRL which is bad timing for the sanction but I really don't think I should have been demoted as I have still been on the server helping out if people needed me at all and fulfilling my duties, If it was just I wasn't getting on the server solely because I didn't want to the sure I wouldn't argue with the demotion however I have also been quite busy trying to sort stuff out IRL and I just hope that some consideration would be taken as I have never failed my duties as a staff member, I have stayed dedicated to helping out since I applied for staff, I did resign and take a week break and felt like I was ready to come back, I was still fairly active on the server and I don't think that I should have been demoted as I have never failed in my duties and it is simply a busy time for me. If the Head Admin / CM Team would like to question me at all, feel free to either reply on the thread or dm me.

Just thought id state I was demoted to Super Admin not fully demoted.

every staff member who freely volunteers their time to help out the Lead Team are seemingly treated like trash... are we just going to keep seeing these sort of threads from things that obviously shouldn't be happening in any fairly sane situation? it's fine that you're enjoying the real world, enjoy it.

Every time I need help with something on the server Spectrum is usually the guy that comes on to sort it out right when I ask him, so him being easy to contact couldn't be more true, even for the smallest things that I've contacted him about he joins quite quickly to try to rectify, but I guess he is not helpful enough in the eyes of the people who sit afk on the server.

The head admins need to understand that just because they can't see you being helpful to others, doesn't mean you're not helpful at all. But hey I am wasting my time writing this because players opinions, visual and written facts are just not taken into consideration even though users tend to see a lot more of what staff members do compared to the higher ups.

So here is some of the issues I have with spectrums demotion. I have personally never had issues with contacting Spectrum through steam or discord when I have needed to speak to him(Unlike the issues I have had with other staff members(not naming people to avoid drama). Yes Spectrums attitude towards people has not always been the best but lets be honest here its not the worst. I have seen admins and even LT and CM's with much worst attitude. I would also like to add that me and a few other fellow ZARPIANS all remember but not sure to find it the LeadTeam/staff team Time requirement on the server being "3 hours a week" (I might be wrong but we all remember it)

This time was met by spectrum and if hes not motivated to play he can easily do most of the job of a headadmin out of game. These jobs being

• Tasks on the weekly onenote.
• filling out weekly spreadsheets for meetings
• Any other things that have been adding since I resigned.

These tasks are picked out in the weekly meeting for the LT to do. Along with this the demotion itself seems stupid. Lets look at the staff team right now we currently have 1 Head admin after getting rid of Spectrum. Lets also add that this single Headadmin is also Owner of multiple servers and has alot of other things to do other than just SSRP. And, we have all seen in the past what has happened with onions play time and attitude towards these ranks(being when he owned them before clarky)
Onion would bearly get 3 hours on the servers and the time was just afked. he would just sit in a spacer on teamspeak and that was it. If he joined SSRP he might run around a little bit but if not he would only sit is spawn.
Now lets look at the pro's about Spectrum
- If you need him you message him almost instant replies.
-Friendly and easy to talk to.
-I have personally never known spectrum not to do something he has been told to.
-Willing to argue his argument instead of just backing down .
Cons
-Doesn't want to just sit afk on the server for activity.
-Speaks his opinion if he thinks someone is wrong. (wait thats a con? I thought thats what any good admin should do).

Lets be real here unless there is some solid stuff like spectrum abusing, not giving a single fuck we all know he shouldn't be demoted. He earned the rank and should have the rank still. Big +support for this appeal. It was a shit idea for him to be demoted for such a petty reason in the beginning. Good luck Spectrum
