I will just comment on this appeal, since I can't handle it:
Since hitting people with your car deals "armor damage", it still is against the rules, as outlined in rule 3.1. According to Jaffar, you've continuosly used your vehicle with the intention to hit other players. You have been verbally warned multiple times leading up to your warning.
Lmao if its disabled it isn't his fault it does 1 armour damage every now and then. As for Intention i always intentionally hit people in my car since it was disabled and I've never faced punishment. Gtfo with ur bs excuses
You're completely missing the point. Just because CDM was "disabled" in the changelog doesen't mean it's not a thing anymore. It still deals "armor damage" and therefore is still a rule. It has never been removed from the rules. Additionally, as I have repeated multiple times now, Jaffar verbally warned him multiple times, before handing out an actual warning.
These "bs excuses" are facts.
Armour damage isn't a valid kos reason so therefore IT DOESNT MATTER
Your argument both makes no sense and is not relevant to the situation, as kos reasons have nothing to do with the cdm rule...
How does my argument make no sense. Cdm was disabled meaning no deaths can happen via a car? Thus allowing drivers to drive without car knowing they can not do harm to people how is it the players fault it does 1 armour point of damage. I do not understand how you can warn someone for driving down the road when the staff have done everything to remove the cars from effecting roleplay? Another example of this would be for you to warn me whenever you see me in a vehicle because I can assure you I have always hit at least one person everytime I have got in my car yet I have never been f1ed or warned for this so why now? Yes a cdm rule might be wrote down but effectively how can you enforce a rule that was 1) main purpose has been disabled and 2) show the intent of someone driving "recklessly" when 95% of players openly stand in roads meaning if you attempt to drive a vehicle you will hit someone.
My argument makes SENSE it's just you're too determined you are in the right when in fact this is the most amount of bullshit I have seen in a while when it comes to petty excuses to warn a user.
Alright, this will be my last post on the matter, since I don't want to make this thread unnecessarily long.
You don't have to damage players to break the CDM rule(s), as damage is completely irrelevant to the rule itself. The rule was added to forbid damaging / killing other players, but you don't have to actually damage them in order to break the rule. Simply hitting them is already counted as CDM.
Although the rule's main purpose has mostly been patched out, there are still some remnants (armor damage) of it's original purpose. Therefore it has been decided that the rule is still in place. Although it's mostly not enforced, it still is a rule and is punishable. Under normal circumstances, you wouldn't get warned for it, but Jaffar claims that he has verbally warned Kyber multiple times leading up to his warning, which in turn makes the warning an appropriate measure. As far as I know, there is no proof on either side to show what really happened, so that is the story we have to go with, as the burden of proof lies on Kyber in this situation.
We're not questioning the rule itself in this thread. The sole purpose of this thread is to figure out, if the warning was justified. If you really feel the need to discuss this further, feel free to contact me on steam / discord. You'll find all neccesary information in my signature.
