Today's Community Team meeting has been completed. We have the following important announcements to make that were discussed in this weeks Community Team meeting. The following attended: Chuteuk, Martin, OnionRings, Auzzi & Faithful.

Server Owners Meeting

Cancelled due to Community Team votes

Your winner of the Community Team 23/24 and your next Community Manager is: Faithful! Faithful has been a part of ZARP since 2019 but started working his way up the ranks later in 2022. He is one of our most active and dedicated staff members who has proven himself through hard work and dedication to his roles whether that means playing actively, taking part in server discussions, attending testing sessions, handling staff situations and anything else that has been thrown his way.

Have a read of the Winner Announcement thread for all the details about the Community Team 23/24 vote and to find out when Faithful will be getting started & be sure to send him a message of congratulations for all his hard work!

SSRP Unban Wave 2023

Today we've decided to plan an SSRP Unban Wave. We will be going through pretty much all bans placed besides Community bans, scamming bans, and a few others. This will happen in the next couple of weeks, and we will keep you posted on anything new that comes up.

The unban wave will only affect bans handed out before the 3rd of July 2023. Community Bans, as well as most scamming bans will still remain active.

Yep, id guess that they are only unbanning those who were permed on the old policy years ago but even the new policy is still too lenient because even you cheat more than 3 times you arent permed, imo the 2nd/3rd offence should be a permanent unappealable ban (yes im aware this is hypocritical as fuck)

but if they banned cheaters permanently there would not be a player base to keep coming back

It acts as a deterrent, if people know that they’ll only be gone a few months if they cheat then they’re going to do it anyway lol
