We are very proud to have been able to give back to some fantastic charities over the course of the last few years and even further back than that. The charity updates will return again and when we have a firm date and plan we will let people know in a proper announcement!
Is this close to being announced? It's been quite sometime now.

Oh no, I can't be reminded of that charity thread that got me a long ban.

Unfortunately the community vote charity event was originally meant to be planned out by a former Community Manager who is no longer a member of the community and never delivered on their promises.

Following our regular discussion of our plans after the last Community Team vote, we did have plans of another charity event and the relevant Community Team member should be able to give an update in response to your question on this thread!

The planned charity event would be related to the ongoing war in Ukraine, although we do still intend on using the results of the previous vote in the future.

We currently have a Pointshop Update planned which was tested yesterday and the bugs are in the process of being fixed for a planned release within the next couple of weeks tops. This update will also hopefully open avenues for further expansion and development of the Pointshop servers and allow us to allocate more time and resources into them.

Unfortunately the Community Manager this got reassigned to was Joshua, so is not currently assigned to anyone and still requires full planning.

How hard is it to stick a booster deal up with all proceeds going to charity? Its confusing to see why its taking so long, any reason for this?

There's more to a charity event than a booster pack deal - sure booster packs make up a lot of the money we intend to donate, but we usually support the charity event by releasing a themed update that allows players to rack up real money through in-game means (ie. special missions that - when completed - add real money to the donation goal). Ideally a charity event would also have a way for pointshop players to support the cause as well and all that needs to be planned in advance and implemented. We're committed to support important causes and make a positive impact with this community and I'm sure that we'll continue to do so in the future as we've done with past charity events. That being said - we are still planning to do a charity event in the near future and we'll update you once we've got more details to share.
