When will the casino prices change? because for now it's a scam
Changes to prices in the casino for cashing out tokens into items is something that has been discussed and is planned, alongside the addition of some more items to the casino, however it's also important to note that these prices will never be exactly the same (if we're to consider the "price" of the items as the value of the chips if you were to cash them out directly) for a range of reasons:
ZARP SSRP operates on a dynamic, player-driven economy in which the "prices/value" of items on the server are mostly determined by users themselves and how much they are willing to sell them to other players for. This means that prices may fluctuate in ways which wouldn't be easily predicted, and we can't be changing these prices all the time.
Furthermore, usually purchasing items from other users doesn't increase the amount of an item in the economy, all it does is circulate both money and items. If we were to make the prices directly match what players were selling the items for or what they consider to be the "value" of the item, then this approach would simply not work: players would start to sell the items for less (since why would you buy from players where stock is limited when you could just purchase directly from the server with unlimited stock?) which would drive down the "value" of the item further, and then we'd be back in the same position again.
The price of buying an item directly from the server in a place with unlimited stock (ie. the casino - this doesn't apply in the case of the rare items store due to limited stock and rotating items) will always be slightly higher than the price that you may pay when buying from other users in their shops, since part of what you're paying for is the immediate availability of the item and to add more of it to the economy.
With that being said, we do understand that some of the prices in the casino pay be a little bit outdated and do need refreshing, but I also felt that it would be useful to clarify on how decisions are made just to clear up any confusion and so you know what to expect, hopefully this answers your question!
