TOPIC: [TTT suggestion] Starting Tutorial

Suggestion Title: Tutorial Video

How would it benefit the server: When new players join they will be greeted with a Tutorial of how TTT works. This should be easy code for when players first join the server ever. It will show slides of how the traitor tester works, where all the traps are. How traps can be actived, How to sprint, How to play detective and traitor, the buy menus, how the levelling system works, how to craft cards, how to do radio binds ect. - They were just some examples. It will get new players a really good understanding on how it all works so they don’t quit becuase they dont know how to play and get bored increasing the amount of players joining the server. It also helps prevent RDM when someone accidently presses the wrong button.

Potential Issues/Exploits: None!

There are quite a few prompts around the map which explains certain map features, for example the signs at the tester

As Nay said, there are sections in the TTT information thread about how to play the game made. My Suggestion, if accepted, will help users on how to navigate the server.

I've seen this done on several servers and it never works, people just instantly close what ever is in front of them when you load into a server because it's mostly self promoting server bs.
If you were to have a video it should be clear and only cover the basics.It should just say innos do x , t do y , d do z and don't kill anyone unless you have 100 percent proof someone is t with exceptions which are in section 2.6 of the rules, type !rules in chat to access and read the rules.

Things like how to sprint , where and what the traps do can , buy menu items , how leveling works shouldn't be in it because they are easily found out by playing. For things like this people can link the info thread. Linking new players to the info thread is also a bad idea, most people don't bother reading the signs that explain how to use the tester which you have to directly look at to test someone. no1 is going to read more than a sentance or two before closing the info thread. There should be a !help that quickly links someone to the absolute basics.

Everything that is needs to be explained has already been covered within the TTT section of the forums, making a video to show case this is just as likely to get overlooked as anything else, if someone claims to be a new player the staff have something to refer them to so they cannot make the same excuse again in the future.

There’s already something like this popping up when you are t at the start of the round at the middle bottom of your screen breaking down the basics of your role

I was tired and didnt think of half of them, the signs i know about but NOBODY reads them lol

the TTT server is pretty much populated by people who have watched TTT if they dont understand the game mode then they can read the rules and server info about the game and boom.
