Before I begin, I would like to point out a few things. Firstly, yes, I have made an application for Moderator in the past which I then deleted as I got pretty annoyed with some of the insulting replies I was getting, I personally felt victimised and I also thought perhaps I had done something to upset everyone even though I was fairly new to the community.
If you would like to slate this application too, please feel free, I will not delete it this time and I will give everyone a chance to look at it. I have now been a Moderator for a few days and part of the community for weeks and I would like to apply to be a full time Moderator. Why? I haven't donated just for the donator perks (yes, I will admit, I did want some of the perks for my cash), but I actually donated mainly because I could see the server needed more Moderators in my timezone, and since my application got absolutely slated, I thought donating for a Moderator position would give me the chance to show how much I can actually help the community. I would like to leave a decent application for a full time Moderator rather than just a donator one month Moderator position. Anyway, enough of my blabbering, here's the app: Real name: Vince Country: Wales Age: 21 Total Playtime Ingame: 425 hours / 96.2 hours this week which have almost all been in ZARP. In-Game & Username & Steam ID & Steam Nickname: In-Game - Vince Username - Vince SteamID |

From moderator, the next step is administrator. However you cannot apply for this rank. You will be promoted upon evaluation of your qualities in-game and on the forums. |

Yes I understand but I donated to become a Moderator for a month. I would like to become a Moderator by choice of the higher staff full time. |

They way they've gained rank is not being reviewed whilst selecting admins. You already have the same rights and duties as applicant mods, I really don't understand what you are seeking. |

I understand your confusion, I will explain. Basically, I don't feel like I have earned the position of a moderator on the server by just donating for it. Plus I only get the position for one month. What I am seeking is for the higher staff and the community to actually recognise how much I have been helping in the server, read my application and to actually accept me as a Moderator within the ZARP community. I hope this makes things a little clearer. |

I am not sure exactly how long I have spent in ZARP unfortunately, I fear if I share a figure it may be inaccurate and then may be considered a liar. Well, based on the hours listed, you don't have enough time spend on ZARP. Vince wrote: Well, no-one's grammar skills are perfect I guess, for example it would be "An 8" not "A 8", not to be picky or anything. Indeed, but this is not my application. I didn't rate myself 10/10 on my application neither. You did. Vince wrote: This is because I have never seen you in game. If you can't figure out what to say here, you are probably not ready to be a mod yet. Especially since you point your own application towards others saying 'look they gave you a pile of pooh so I thought if I do it you would appreciate it'. Well, no. Vince wrote: Basically because I know all of the main commands, it's hard to know what to say in 150 words otherwise. Mentoring/training does not only apply to commands. Vince wrote: You were the only one that I was against in my previous application as your replies were very rude and arrogant and not constructive at all. You most definitely did not reply in a civilized manner in my previous application, and that whole part about slating was aimed at you, which you have done in yet another application. I can see for some reason you have issues with accepting new people into the community and especially into the staff section of the community and I am not sure why. In my reply, I have been very constructive. There is no mass negativity here and all the replies I have given are all backed up with arguments. Like I said: you rage at all the people whom are against you for whatever reason. This really proved my point right here. Every blind man can see that I have been nothing but considerate in my evaluation of your application. Truth is, I can't turn water into wine. Your application was not that good. Simple-as. |

Your replies have been very constructive in this thread, yes, but in my previous thread they most definitely were not. Your replies included "Shit answer". What? You can't turn water into wine? Well that's my hopes of applying to be Jesus down the drain. Listen, Scottie, I know you're a well respected member of the community, but there's no need to totally slate my application. At least I tried to apply and earn my position instead of just donating, I gave it a go. I could have just left it as a donation and kept it that way. Anyway, I am not going to argue with you any further. If you all agree with Scottie's -Support then please feel free to post with reasons. However, please, do not feel afraid to say +Support just because Scottie has -Supported my application, please base it on the application itself. Thank you very much. |

You have to be fair with me on this one. You agreed, twice, that your 150 word answers were pretty much nothing. You saw this issue and you told me you felt the same way. Don't blame me when this leads me to the verdict your application is a little weak. Vince wrote: At least I tried to apply and earn my position instead of just donating, I gave it a go. Some respect for something a million members could have done? You gave it a go, perhaps better next time. You forgot to calculate in that you are not allowed to apply within 1 week of your previous attempt. And your app genuinely wasn't that good. You thought the same way so it is a bit unfair to judge now. Vince wrote: If you all agree with Scottie's -Support then please feel free to post with reasons. Your application is illegible for reviewing, as it hasn't been 1 week since your last one. |

Back to the topic, fully agree with Scottie on every word, -Support. |

I bet you that you haven't even bothered to read my application as a "respected" member of the community has slated it. Ah well, if that's how it works I guess that's how it's going to be! |

Anyhow. It is simply the rules you cannot apply within 1 week after your previous application. It even says in the template. |

Oh right, well no worries doesn't really change anything. I just thought you may apply now because it is almost finished. No I have told you, I am applying because I want to earn the rank and not just pay for it. |
