TOPIC: Sarah Demote request

What did the Staff Member(s) do?: RDA. Didn't knew this rule
After it happened I just told Sarah what happened and that weapons in your hotbar are NOT illegal, then he said I had my weapon(tommy gun) out and shot with it. Indeed I did this, but then again, there's no rule against have someone seen with a weapon out and allowed to arrest him for it then. first I didn't want to make this demote request because it could be some fun or joking around, but when I realized hat Sarah didn't knew the rule I was shocked.
Then I asked for confirmation to Morgan, which confirmed it that it's not arrestable when having a gang weapon in your hotbar.

What server(s) was this on?: SSRP 1

I dont know why mods want to demote eachother for just not knowing a rule..

if i understand this correctly . you got arrested when you put your tommy gun in your hotbar just after she saw you holding it? .

If this is the case she had all the right to arrest you as you were producing a fire arm in public.

Im a little confused why you do not share the video on your topic because it is confusing me right now

But there's no rule for arresting someone with a weapon in their hands and then holstering/putting in your hotbar.
Not sure how to formulate this in English.

Joe, We're a staff Team. If you see someone break a rule don't just go ahead and report them like come on man, I thought better of you but then obviously not. Re-Direct yourself to Keith's post about staff breaking rules, You really should read that again, As you should only report someone if it's a major rule that they've broken not just a minor Random Arrest when personally I think she was right to do so.

You had a gun out and you were firing it in the air, I saw you, you holstered it but the fact you had committed a crime by having the gun out and firing it in public means you can be attested.

Holstering the weapon doesn't change the fact that a cop saw you committing a crime.

We discussed this at length in admin chat to the point I got confirmation on the rule from another admin then eventually had Morgan tell you in admin chat it wasn't RDA.

Looking up there Para had just confirmed it too. Thats 2 head admins now confirming you're wrong.

At the time of arrest I didn't had my weapon out. The rule might not be clear then.And I had it in my hotbar.

Seems like some people still don't understand we are a team, as many posts have said before i do not think that this is really enough to make a demote thread about, this could have easily been solved if you had just spoke to Sarah on steam about this, rather than bringing it up in a demotion thread.

This really isnt RDA as you commited the crime and was witnessed by a police officer doing so. Just because you put the weapon away doesn't mean you had not broken the law you still got the gun out.
