What did the Staff Member(s) do?:
He false warned me

Basically I owned the Disco District on Server 2
I killed Jenga on the Garage straight across from disco, the one where it is empty inside. We owned the entire disco district and we didn't bother owning that door because you cannot see a name on the door and you are not supposed to be able to own it anyways it is supposed to be an unownable door like Hospital Doors on server 2.

This was the door "he owned" and according to MsMs it was RDM even though we owned the district before he even went there and "claimed" the building as his because he owned a door that was supposed to be ownable. There is no display on the door that shows that you can buy it or shows anyones name meaning it is not a property that you can own the door and claim.
Apparently it is a "visual bug" but within the past years it has never had a display that shows we can own the door so no it wasn't a visual bug this warning was clearly false.

I am asking for Tyler, Para, Max, Chummy, EMP or Chute to handle this.

I asked onion about this and he said its ownable
so i think its vaild warn

Honestly I am confused because I am at the door right now but it would not let me purchase it. I think this warn should be removed because it was a mistake because he didn't know that it can be purchased also it shows that it can't be purchased for me as well.

It's ownable, so saying that it shouldn't be ownable is a bullshit excuse. How do you know it shouldn't be ownable when it clearly can be owned?

there is no display of someone being able to own the door meaning it shouldn't be ownable.

that door is fucked to oblivion, buggy as fuck and needs a fix, you can't just simply walk up to it and actually display a 1. owner 2. buy option.

To even get the option as stated above, you need to be at a weird angle, or specific position.

I once attempted to own the door, then never saw a buy sign, later on i then saw it once i was ABOVE that door.

I wouldn't ex actually say the warn is very fair, due to how buggy that door it, but is technically valid due to being able to own it after getting in the correct positions.

They cannot expect us to sit there for 10 minutes trying to find a good angle on the door to see it which Jenga did in his screenshot, any of the people I requested to handle this should go to that building and look at it themselves, the warning is not fair what so ever.

To own the door it is pretty easy, you jump and press F2

I agree this would be more suitable for a warn appeal which I will make after this is handled.
The thing is that door is buggy as shit and there is no clear way of who owns it, and if its ownable it. I stated that to MsMs and he still warned me which I believe is just very wrong and un needed. He may not have understood where I was coming from but if it's a visual server sided bug I shouldn't be warned that's just plain out stupid (which I also explained to him). From a regular standing point the door does not display by any means a way of being able to own it or displaying an owner. Meaning that you should assume it isn't an ownable door, I shouldn't be held accountable for a bug that I cannot control.

I didn't even realize you could own that door. After looking into it some, the door is super buggy. I've lowered the door and faced it and at no point did I receive a prompt that informed me the door would be purchasable. I then raised it and stood on top and again was not given a prompt showing the ability to own the door. I took Micky's advice and looked at the door and jumped while hitting F2 and was able to purchase the door for a brief moment before the option went away. I understand there are screenshots in the thread showing it is possible, but one should not have to jump additional hoops just to own a door.

With all that said, the warn is valid but I would like to think I'm not the only one that was completely unaware that you were able to purchase it. I will speak to MsMs regarding the warn and will inform you over Steam as to the result of it. Additionally, I'll talk with the other LT about just disallowing ownership of the door to avoid future issues as I feel the building doesn't offer much in the ways of potential outside being an obstacle to owning the district.

So the report abuse will be denied and as I said, I'll follow up with you regarding the additional warn/door issue.
