TOPIC: Considering Resignation.

If you're relying on other's opinions to this heavily decide your own resignation you're doing it wrong. This is a fairly big decision and you should make it on your own; not because others clicked "yes" on a poll.

This is a pointless thread, I gotta agree with Viking on this.

If you want to resign, resign. If you don't want to Resign, Don't. At the end of the day it's your decision and a simple "poll" isn't your decision, your asking people to make your decision for YOU.

I usually do not post on these kinds of things, but
Having the community choose whether you should resign or not is not particularly ideal. You should take some time to think before you make your choice.
In my opinion, you're a good person. You shouldn't resign. Just because a few people said it, doesn't mean the whole community thinks the same.
But as I have said, you should give yourself more time before you make your choice to think. Resigning is a very important and difficult choice that requires such time. Make sure you are absolutely certain in your choice.

Sometimes the best way to see if you should resign is doing a community poll.Why?
To know their opinion on him,maybe they would say something like "No , but you could improve in blah-blah" .
Don't post those things saying he shouldn't do this or that.He will do what he thinks is best.

I believe Dcx would normally be the person on Steam to persuade the to stay. But for once I think I need to have a chat. Message me on Steam when I'm online, and get ready for a big chat.

Anyway, I don't see how Chris could make someone leave, but remember....




Personally, I don't think you should leave, but it's your choice. And leaving would be a big mistake.

The Reasons I made a Poll:

1: I just cannot decide whether I should stay, or leave. I want to leave because of the reasons stated, and I want to stay because I love the people of this community, and it would be too hard to just let go.

2: The 2nd reason I want to leave stated. So if people want me to leave, I'll just simply leave.

As said before, there's no reason for this polls. I understand your reasoning behind them, but you're basically letting others make the decision for you now, and this is not a good example for other staff or players. If you want to resign, do it. Don't let others decide it for you.

If they say resign tell them to shut up because they are very hungry for power and they dont care about you only about theirselves....

Chris didn't "made them go" they've gone by themselves.
They decided by theirselves to say that it's enough for them.
And honestly i don't know what is going on there and why chris gets demote requests right NOW!
There are even things that happened one month ago which just makes me think "Were some of the people waiting for the 'right moment' to post this? Just to go and push one person?" I mean if it would go on your nerves so much you would report it instantly wouldn't ya?

And please, if it makes some of you happy call me an "a** kisser" or something but believe me, getting pushed by many people just because maybe you didn't do stuff right, it is painful. it happened to Chris, it happened to other people and it happened to me. The only reason we become staff-members are to help people, So don't try to say Chris is a bad person because maybe he has done something wrong. Even a "Community Manager" can't do everything right.

You're doing what I did, leaving because of Chris (and a few other things), and you are kind of "following the herd" as I did...

I agree you have your points, and I have read through Chris' reply to everyone's resignation, and I agree on some parts and I thank him for apologising for things he has done wrong.

Once I left ZARP because of Chris, I realised it was a bad mistake, and came back with nobody trusting me again.

I suggest you stay and leave the havoc and pain of not being trusted once you rejoin.

If you think resigning is the solution, then be my guest. You are just backing out on a fight that you never joined.
If you really think Chris deserves a demotion, then don't stop doing something about it.
