I miss these few things that we either have or have been changed beyond what they were once like:

- The PD having multiple floors all accessable by every job, this should be changed the Police Department should get a few lower floors. That all can access...

- The fact I can no longer use any gun of my choosing and am sort of forced to stick with either a PSG, L85, SVU or any other scoped weapon, really bothers me. You should release C-upgrades for other weapons like Shotguns and Rifles...

- What happened to the days the craftable weapons such as the; F2000, PKM MG, Ares Shrike & Minigun etc. were the top dogs? These should definitely recieve some sort of buff or just be removed from crafting all together and be replaced by weapons like Ninja Stars, Battle Axes etc.

What made me stay was the level of progression you just got by playing the server you would climb up the ladders of special weapons by starting off with a milkor or rpg (both being around 1m when that was a somewhat large amount of money) then you would work your way up to an m202, tgun, etc and you would just progress but right now there is no sense of progression you could easily get those items by playing for 2-3 days.

The other thing that made me stay was the way the economy worked and you could make money by just trading with players instead of just printing or drugs but now those don't make any significant amount of money cause everyone has 1b+, back in 2017 I remember 1b was shitloads of money and only 20 people had it and para had that unreachable goal of 12b, but now money is less valuable cause there is shit loads of it in the economy and there aren't any huge money sinks.

Another factor of me staying was the gang system which awarded good cooperation that you needed to get a good gang running and where raids/base defenses required coordination instead of everyone having a suit that gives you ESP which removes the need for coordination since you know who is who and where they are, and pulling off a raid actually felt awarding as you earnt it by working together with your gang.

I also stayed for the unique suits and special weapons which were unique to zarp and no other server really had them. The suits weren't really broken and could be countered and when the most over overpowered suit was the hyper cause of the tp but nowadays there are suits that give you 3 lives a dmg multiplier and life steal ALL IN ONE SUIT, then there is the Evo with the permanent ESP which has been asked to be nerfed by making the ESP an f3 ability ever since it came but IT still hasn't been changed, also there is the Visor which gives you 80% dmg reduction which means you can tank an entire clip of the gluon and then take off.

The chance to actually get to kill people instead of everyone nowadays camping one doorway with an instant kill weapon(which don't get me wrong people still did back then but you could kill them instead of them just respawning using a mummy or some other way).

Edit: Forgot to mention something that also made me stay was the staff system and how it worked, the policies and ethos, the democracy, the way staff were picked for the server which no other servers had they all they had was 1-3 HA that would just accept someone as staff if they saw them fit.

What made me stay when I was around tbh, was just the fact there was quite a lot of people online, obviously, the aim of this post is to try getting more people in. I found it fun just doing normal shit without having the OP stuff like suits.

I just liked the fact that most of the time when I played, F1's were being answered fast staff acted in a professionally manner etc, like what Butterman said, the progression, I enjoyed slowly getting up there. Co-operating with your gang when nuking and doing activities was all fun and great. But what made me get bored so easily, was how OP some things would be, to the point where you can't do normal stuff like growing things making drugs without a scan master cunt coming over and tgunning your shit. This is mainly for new players to the server, people fuck their shit up really easily which just puts them off, + with suits makes it even more annoying with them. the only way to really make money is either booster packs or afk mining, I feel as if your PC doesn't have strong enough capabilities for ALTS etc you can't AFK mine making you money, you'd get really bored. And boosters, not everyone wants to buy boosters to become someone "relevant" on the server with their fancy suits etc.

you guys need to understand the players leave cuz its way to hard to base/raid on the server
legit all you guys need to do is to make suits less rare so the price won't be like 600m for 1 suit and then ppl could have some suits and then u could play the server . also maybe nerff mummy way 2 op

I agree with this, when suits were less rare the server actually got players. Now a days, no one wants to sit on and grind for a shit load of money to buy a suit, just to be 1 tapped by a mummy. The mummy really needs some sort of nerf as it's just ridiculously OP. It would also be nice to add a money drain. The vast amount of cash in the economy is absurd. There isn't much of a point for grinding for money now that everyone has it. An idea to fix all three of these issues would be to nerf the mummy, for starters. Then maybe add like a "server market" other than the rare items store, where players can buy suits from it for cash. This would drain the money and open up more suits to the economy

I haven't got too much time but i'll list the stuff that I really enjoyed about zarp

- Big Gang Bases: Nowadays it's way too easy to make money printing, for example Sorle is making billions every day and there's little to no competition at all. Back 2 years ago, basing was high risk, high reward. You could either make a billion or lose a billion, it all mattered about skill and how well you could defend an attack from a rival gang, plus you'd also have to risk using Juggs etc to make sure that they won't just gluon rush and fuck everything up.

- The Old Suit Meta: Back when the only suits that existed were the Jugg, Nano, ACS and Hyper were the good old days, the EVO suit wasn't a terrible addition, however it pretty much made co-operation and comms obsolete as you could see everybody in the vicinity of the base you're raiding etc. And now with the Mummy suit and the Golden Gluon, it's just not worth even using suits anymore as you'll inevitably get one tapped by a 2x mummy with a Golden Gluon.

Now i'm not saying we should just flat out remove the mummy, however we should nerf it to where it gets 1.5x damage instead of 2x damage, and cap the health to 750, however give it like 400 armor or something, making it weaker but also tankier. And the Golden Gluon could also do with a nerf to where it only does 1.5x Damage or maybe make it so it fires faster and has 300 ammo in it's clip instead of the 200. The OG suits could also do with some HP and armor buffs as well.

It would be cool if we could also craft ACS's and Nanos in the crafting tab as right now, they're wayy too expensive considering how unbelievably weak they are at the moment, maybe make them craftable with Gems so that way they will retain their price and will have a use other than being used only for the wheel etc.

- Money Sinks: Now as you all know, there's so much money in the economy these days (especially from dupers, please no drama though) that items are just worth so much, like right now a Nano Suit is 400mil even though they'll get one tapped by a gluon and barely fit in the meta. We as a community should really try and implement some money sinks, I made an idea in the past which got accepted that if somebody gets arrested with a valuable item on them, that item then goes into the auction house for people to bid on, this would mean that the item doesn't disappear from the economy, but the money the person used to buy it would, eventually meaning that special weapons will go down in price.

I think it would also be a great idea to implement different skins for suits / weapons that cost money, i'm not a graphic designer by any means but if there was special skins for say suits, I wouldn't think twice before buying them (only if they looked good of course) say the person who made the skin (if it wasn't the owners) would also get 10% of that sale, meaning that people would have a good reason to develop great looking skins.

Another idea would be to add more cars and maybe have cars that have certain special abilities (for example a car with a turret on it) or a car that drops slams, you know some 007 type shit. you just gotta add cool ass shit that people won't think twice about buying.

I also had an idea of selling perma weapons, not special weapons of course but stuff like PSG's, you could price them at a couple hundred mil, I wouldn't think twice about buying a perma PSG as it would mean they would no longer take up valuable inventory space.

Another idea would be to make it so that character upgrades are no longer tradeable, and that people who have duplicates can either get them replaced with other character upgrades that they don't have or they could trade them in to obtain some SCU's or something else.

My final idea would be to make inventory space purchasable, for example you could sell 5 inventory space for around 50mil, this would mean that people who can't afford boosterpacks or don't want to buy them with their in game cash can instead buy inventory space, this would be super helpful and would encourage people to mine for steel and then use that steel to craft M202's, Nukes etc. I feel like at the moment, there's too much money compared to how many items there are.

The Crafting System - Now the crafting system is fucking fantastic, it's one of the best things about the server but it could really do with some more features, for example, Iridium Pickaxes are quite rare at this moment and they cost a pretty penny, how about instead you make them craftable for a certain amount of steel or gems? This will encourage even more people to mine and craft more items this economy desperately needs, I mean I don't want to throw too many things that should be craftable as some of my ideas may be a little too overpowering to the economy.

And for the last suggestion......... drum roll.........

New Players - As we all know, most people who join Zarp don't stay for long, this is because it's very difficult to get set up as a new player, I remember when I came back after a long break in 2016, I set up a little base hoping to make some money and 5 minutes later my base gets raided by an EMP nade and a Milkor (they were somewhat valuable back in mid 2016) and that really destroyed my confidence that I would've ever ended up making enough money, however because i'm a pretty competent businessman, I was able to make a lot of money from buying stuff for cheap and selling it for more (AFK mining helped a lot too) but most people who start playing probably won't even know what AFK mining is, and not many people know how to trade (not trying to insult anyone) so really we need to make it easier to start out

I think we could possibly achieve this by revamping the drug system, it would be cool if you could craft a very wide range of drugs and you could store them in your inventory and sell to either an NPC or other players who would pay a decent price for them as they would have certain effects to make you more powerful. We could also implement something where for the first 6 hours you join, you're completely immune to being raided, meaning that new players could make a nice amount of cash, also we should make it so new players start out with $1,000,000 and give them access to VIP printers for the first 6 hours, this would mean that new players could potentially make $10,000,000 plus and that's more than enough money to start making more and more money.

We could also add a Casino Manager job where new players can buy Fruit Machines and such and they'll get a small amount every time somebody plays on the machine, of course make the machines rigged so people will lose money more often than they'll gain money.

That's all for now, if I come up with more ideas later i'll be sure to add them to this topic.

I would like to thank DEADMONSTOR for being extremely transparent with the Community and giving us a space where we can suggest ways to really revamp the server and make it more populous and alive, I really hope you read my suggestions and get some sort of inspiration from them, I spent a lot of time thinking about this, constructive criticism would also be very much appreciated as I know there will be people who politely disagree with some of my suggestions

Yep if a new come into the server he needs to make around 600m just to get one suit which is pretty fucking hard.yet again all they need to do is the make suits less rare therefore the price will go down and it will be much easier to new players to play the server, also for old players it will be much more fun not to waste like 1 day base for 1 suits lol

Also change the mummy's force respawn to 5 seconds and add the ability to take off while being dead.
A nice addition to the mummy would also be an overlay, slight nerf but it would prevent people afking with it

u don't get the point, they need to change it to the way it used to be when jugg used to be like 150-250m and ppl had to base for like 4-8h to get a suit and not like 4 days with decent printers.

there is no reason to nano beeing 350m lol anyway I'm not saying that suits should be ez to get just less hard than what it is right now 600-800m for jugg its ridiculous

very true, however what needs to be acknowledged is that I have 7 accounts and I'm basically friends with everyone lol so no one raids me really

additionally, it's so fucking hard to get the x4s i need to base because there's like none left in the economy

something is planned for ACSes afaik, and nanos are really strong rn and in high demand now that they're not on evo esp, push with them intelligently and they're nuts

something is planned for ACSes afaik, and nanos are really strong rn and in high demand now that they're not on evo esp, push with them intelligently and they're nuts
