The "Nether T Testing Method" - The idea that only a T can exit the Nether without entering. (If you do the right checks)
I have been told it's against the rules after doing it for the second time because "there is no actual evidence"; There are no rules against or for my method.
"[Administrator] Rittsu: well its still against the rules so dont do it
[Administrator] [Guardian] Rittsu: end of"
Step 1. Mark all players preround as "suspect" thus eliminating the confusion of new players joining in and possibly being inside the Nether.
Step 2. Enter Nether and check everywhere for players, those inside you mark "missing" exit Nether and enter again to make sure no one paralleled with your entry
Step 3. With all players having a Tag "Innocent" or "missing" you wait outside the portal, changing those exiting as "missing" to "suspect" and those entering as "suspect" to missing".
Step 4. Should a player exit the Nether as "suspect" without being marked "missing" it means they entered a T room portal, came into the Nether, and then exited the nether into the overworld. thus giving me concrete evidence that they're a T.
The mods believe this is KOS on suspicion because of a few reasons. I will debunk them also.
1."You don't account for new spawns" Marking everyone preround means that anyone joining in will have no tag and are then proven innocent.
2. "They could have teleported in" Teleporting requires a T weapon, picking it up requires you to say in chat you have the T item to avoid suspicion, I check chat every second for KOS's and Suspicions and weapon pickups to keep updated on what going around me. if you teleport in without announcing you have the T item it is a valid KOS reason as the rules state "Valid KOS Reasons - Holding/Using a Traitor only weapon without announcing that he got it from a traitor."
3. "cant KOS on someone being in the Nether" as the rules state "Players are allowed free-roam of the map, you cannot KOS someone for entering an area minus traitor only areas" However I don't KOS because of you where in the Nether, I KOS because you came out the Nether without first entering, thus showing me you have entered a T room beforehand. (including the use of my safeguards)
4. "You could have not seen someone go inside" I don't look away from the portal unless I'm looking at chat for less than a second, not enough time to round out of my sight which takes least 4 seconds and in that time ill see you in my peripheral vision also. The main time consumer is changing the tags because the player menu covers a lot of my vision, most of the time a mental note of those inside and those left is easy because of it being on average 2 people. If there is too much traffic in and out or someone is making it difficult for me to track people I will stop it as I know I'll get confused and not have a valid reason to single people out.
Final There is zero chance you can come out that portal as a "suspect" and innocent when using this method. If you can brainstorm a way you can I would like to know.
