Thank you Richard! For anyone still wanting to attend the meetings on 24th,25th and 26th Joshua will be hosting them.

The last SSRP update hasn’t brought in much players or attention at all at least from what the GT stats show, will there be a discussion about this as it should be raising concern if updates aren’t drawing players in again? I haven’t had a chance to try it personally because I don’t have a way of doing so but another widely negative thing was the gang member limit, why are you guys keeping this despite the huge negative backlash? This just simply won’t work especially with the current state which was already discussed in a different post.

I know it’s Christmas you deserve a break for sure, don’t take this too hard on yourselves and if you want 2022 to be a good year for ZARP, it’s time some things change if you want people to come back.

Also I hate to say it but adding gang building into the map (only if you pay) is such an insane cash grab and would have been unbelievable a few years back or even just a year back.

If you're interested in our policies and processes around update testing and release make sure to read out Updates Policy. We didn't put less effort into testing this update. We are aware of your issue with the missing map, unfortunately it's not something we can easily fix. The vast majority of players are able to join the server without any issues. Only a very small amount of people tend to experience this issue and it's usually fixable by manually downloading the map from our FastDL and extracting it into your local maps folder. We are actively looking into possible solutions for this and we hope to prevent this from happening in our next map update.

I'd like to close this off by saying that the Community Team does care a lot about the community. We're trying our best to deliver you the best experience and we've got a lot of changes planned for our future updates to hopefully bring back more players. Some changes - like the gang member limit - might not be liked by everyone initially but they are necessary in one form of another to make way for more exciting updates and features in the near future. We did think a lot about the gang member limit and we had a lot of discussions about it. Everyone in the Community Team agrees that it's necessary sooner or later and it's not gonna stay fixed at 10 for long. We plan to add ways for gang owners to increase their member limit in the near future and we've got some other more exciting ideas that some of us are currently working on.

Instead of increasing the limit, how about removing it? Because literally no one but a printer exploiter wanted it (shock AfroHat taking advantage for his own gain)

No money was given to the Community Team for anything to be added to the map, we take absolutely zero money from ZARP.

Then its even harder to see the impact as its only majorly exploitable by one system due to that system having a flaw in its logic where it wasn’t clearing the money count before giving money leading to an infinite money dupe when the clear function gets interrupted by an error. I checked back through and the flaw has always been present. As no matter how many times you look over something there is a possibility for something to slip through the cracks. Thats why we take daily backups to reduce the damage, but I don’t think this was the case of the team taking the testing any less seriously.
