What do you want to add?:

A new warning system that will improve the quality of roleplay and descent the amount of ragers. It would be a warning system per player having [0/3] warnings. This could be for any report that didnt have clear evidence but witnesses and/or repeated trolling. When 3/3 warnings has been reached, a one hour ban applies to the player saying "You must be doing something wrong, calm down and come back in an hour."

Why does it need to be added?:

This would make it easier to deal with issues rather then having the black/white option of not punishing or banning for longer terms.. a mid-solution. If the experienced admins agree on this point, I see no harm in experimenting with such system. Besides it can be a measurement for the 'trusted player' suggestion done by someone else.

Some players get strikes, but only if it's major.
But mabey they should add a thing that shows every single player that have joined the server's STEAM_ID and STRIKES - To Admins and above - Because it will help Admins know how many strikes people have and stuff, because i do sometimes have trouble finding people's STEAM_ID. Like a list or something in !menu command.

I would think a strike is a better lesson then a week ban and used in a minor situation. Guess it didn't work out that way. Perhaps an added value in playerstats (such as money/shop cash/health etc) warnings so you can just look them up by player?

I dont think you understood him correctly Ice, since the "strike" system we have is kinda just for admins, so when they have been warned 3 times they will be demoted. We dont "strike" normal players, but ban/kick/warn. But what scottie ment was probably an system were admins/mods can place a

Maybe add some commands like:

/warn <Name> (Warn and show how many warns a player have)

Example: /warn Zart (1/3 warnings)

/warns <Name> (Checks how many warns a player have)

Example: /warns Ice (2/3 warnings)

After 3 warnings from an Admin the player would then get a ban of 30 minutes and the message:

Go read ZarpGaming's server rules, and come back in 30 minutes.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind that, but I still think there should be a time, maybe a week when the warn expires.

That's a great idea, but it should be an Banned by Warns exstension.

Banned once by warns = 30 min ( Warns 3/3 )
Banned twice by warns = 2 hours ( Warns 6/6 )
Banned three times by warns = 6 hours ( Warns 9/9 )

And maybe a command to bring out a little box with the currently online players saying how many bans/warns they have. Example:

I agree with you Adrian. This could also be taken in consideration when a player applies for a staff role. Past history and reasons to why a person was previously banned.

I love the ideas, needs brainstorming.
