TOPIC: Current attitude of users towards staff!

So recently I've noticed that a lot of users hold a large amount of hostility towards the staff team SSRP servers. This has been made obvious by a very large amount of complaints but also by the attitude shown on the server.

At times the staff members in question may have made a mistake or done something wrong but this isn't always the case as there are times where I hear and see users that think the staff are being too lenient on users breaking rules. Another thing that is obviously displaying how they feel is the usage of names that specifically target certain staff members.

This is not a good way to handle things, a lot of people seem to forget that our goal as a staff team is making sure that everyone the server has a good time and staff members just like anyone else can make mistakes. If we start being extremely harsh on everyone it'll cause a lot of people to be very upset when there were far more simple and better solutions to the issue. This includes the lead team and how we act towards staff members. I get a lot of people that expect me to straight up demote a staff member for forgetting a rule or making a minor mistake and that simply isn't how stuff works.
Obviously if a staff member is being very abusive or continuously making bad mistakes action will be taken, but our goal isn't to demote people it's to improve the experience of both the staff and the users on the server.

This isn't stating that abusive users or staff should be ignored, if someone is doing something wrong they can obviously be reported but it should be left at that. Once they've been reported the rest lies in the hands of lead team or in the case of a user the staff member handling the situation.

Going back to the usage of names that target people as they've been an issue as of late, they do nothing to improve the situation on the server. They simply promote bashing staff members and that in turn makes people feel hated or unwanted within the community. You're still very welcome to come with friendly and constructive criticism but simple bashing of people isn't good at all.

I hope that people can read this and understand that it's important to give people a chance and to remain friendly regardless of the mistakes they may have made, it makes for a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Thanks for making this Tyler, I feel as if this is needed to show people what is wrong and what they shouldn't be doing. We have seen too much of this recently and people need to lean that this isn't acceptable.

Maybe needed, but i seriously doubt this will change anything.

I was quite frustrated to see people with names like #demote etc. I made a mistake today and accidentally warned someone for RDM When I meant NLR, Then his name was Mkeritan #DemoteBigwhal then some random guy in ooc said #demote Bigwhal I asked why and he said IDK I like #. I told him I meant to warn him for NLR And he said "Idk Eh" And left his name like that

We're not going to spread negativity and promote targeting other users, it's something that's definitely not acceptable and goes against the Terms Of Use completely.

Yea I agree with this. If you have a problem with a staff member come to me or any other lead team member and we will handle it and that's the only thing you can do that will make anything happen.

This is just an opinion, stating that this staff member either needs to get his shit together, or get demoted.
We have nothing against Mango personally, but rather his admin skills. I see plenty of #Promote4Ha / #Unban.

And Max. 1 month ago I reported this mango guy, for targetting me. 1 month later, he does it again. Something is wrong here, which is why I put that in my name, and some others did aswell.
