Everything on both ends was settled for. everyone forgave each other and just wants to play the server again no harm was caused and i think everyone that got banned for this should be unbanned

I understand that, but once the ban is placed then the staff literally have the right to say ‘fuck off we don’t want you on the server anymore’ even if all is forgiven. By escalating it to this in the first place this problem has been caused.

That's true. but like what was said by smol none of the people involved knew that intentionally placing lights would result in a perm ban. now i don't think anyone crashed which is still an attempt but maybe shouldve been punished lighter not knowing the rules is not an excuse but everyone is genuinely sorry and i doubt this will occur again.

I mean the rule was suddenly made out of nowhere. I did it and a week later I was punished with 0 proof. Yet I decided on my appeal to admit since it’s better off that way.

Honestly, I can see both sides of this argument. Yes it’s unintentional that players crash due to this. However if a light is causing an alt to crash and your connection to the server is that volatile then you probably shouldn’t be having alts

You basically said it's the other persons fault because they can be crashed, my analgoy is it's like you saying it's someones fault for being rdmd because they can be killed

That's true the exploiting rule isn't covering this scenario. cuz lets say u put lights for ur shop and there's alts there and u get banned for it while not trying anything to cause harm to other players. this is why there's no real solution to this but a perm ban is just very extreme for this situation

No? There’s a difference between spamming loads of lights and text screens in front of an alt compared to having text screens and lights for shops and advertisement
