What's the issue?
So recently across the community players and staff are being confused on what is criticism, what is bullying, and how can I tell the difference. One of these are completely against ZARP's Terms of Use, the others is happily accepted.
Criticism
Criticism is the act of passing judgment as to the merits of anything. Criticism is how we help others, and how we improve ourselves. If we cannot take criticism, there's no room to improve and you'll likely never will if you don't take into consideration the thoughts of others to improve on whatever it is. Anytime you point out positives and or negatives on an application, you're giving criticism which is perfectly fine.
Bullying
Bullying is the repeated act of being disrespectful, harassing, discriminative, or hurtful to someone. Whenever you're repeatedly putting someone down, or just being plain out rude and making fun of someone is bullying and is definitely not condoned here at ZARP and is against the Terms Of Use.
What's the difference?
The biggest problem and the reason i'm making this thread is because a large amount of people in the community are confused, what's the difference? Criticism is welcomed, bullying is not. If you find yourself pointing out flaws on somebodys application, more than likely you're just giving out criticism. If you're constantly putting them down and being aggressive, disrespectful, and or possessing rule breaking behavior towards them etc. towards them, you're being a bully and it needs to stop.
What do I do if I see someone being a bully?
If you see someone being a bully around the ZARP Community, for example, the forums or a specific server, please view
