TOPIC: PLEASE READ ALL STAFF MEMBERS

Hello guys. So the reason for me making this topic, is simply because i have started to hear more and more about you guys (Staff members) report each other over minor things sometimes. I really want you guys to remember that you are one big team. Please help each other instead of just reporting every staff member that might break a minor rule. I have broken NLR on SSRP myself from time to time because i simply forgot. And staff members have seen me, and told me "Yo Keith you are breaking NLR right now" And that is it.. It's simply just a small heads up for me. I want you guys to remember that i am no different from a mod. You should treat me just like you treat every one else...

Please stick together guys instead of reporting each other


And on that note... For all the SSRP guys. STOP SPECTATING EACH OTHER FOR NO REASON!

A lot of SSRP staff members just spectate other staff members to wait for them to break rules... DON'T as i said you guys are a team! You should be able to trust your teammates... Hope this post just had a little effect on some of you guys

Thanks keith maybe people will listen to you, its becoming very stupid staff are supposed to help users out and not just send hours spectating other staff member and this is causing tension and a lack of trust between staff members.

This Post is so great its feeling Like you cant trust any other Staff member. Like you make an mistake and youre scared about getting an demote request. Where is the Sense of spectating other Staff member instead of handling f1's and Generally Helping eachother.

A lot of people do not realize that in the end, the staff members are all one big team in which everyone has their moments and their flaws at the same time no matter who you are. No is perfect, "If everything was perfect, you would never learn and you would never grow" -Beyonce Knowles. Practice and trust is two of the major keys towards having a successful team. Being able to ask other members for help and help those who might of accidentally forgot a rule or two is critical for a team. Rather instead of reporting, gathering evidence, and posting a demote request for a fellow staff member, you could of spend that time teaching that staff member what he did wrong, what he should of done, and what he can do in the future. In order to become a better staff member you need to be able to cooperate with one another and be able to help those in need. Thank you Keith for your post, keep up the good work!

Either way i agree. People report eachother for such small things, i do aswell sometimes break NLR by accident by simply forgetting, we're all humans afterall. It's like entering a room and forgetting why you entered that room.
Sometimes a simply talking is enough, no need to try and demote eachother.

SSRP staff please read this!

If you break NLR you will most likely get a warning.

A warning can get your application denied

That should be the same thing as breaking a rule as a mod however you can break quite a few rules before getting demoted. You should not just be having a free ticket and get away with rulebreaks whilst others gets banned for it.

True.. but imo staff could spectate, but remind staff instead of reporting them.

Ill try to reduce it aswell

Thank you for making this post Keith, i can see problems like this in the server which is not good.

This has been my way of thinking, ever since I got staff.
A staffmember should only report Another staffmember if he keeps on going after a heads up, not everything might be abuse, even though it could look like it at first sight.
And some staff should also listen if they're told they're breaking a rule, instead of instantly saying "If you have proof of me doing it report it on the forums" since its only a heads up. Humans are bound to make mistakes, and we are all human.
Not so long ago I slayed Pug in the very ending of a map on deathrun, causing him to lose xp and points, because i had slay binded and were trying to write a message but failed hitting the chat button first.
He didnt report me, but just asked what i was doing.
I explained the situation to him and told him i were Sorry and thats it.
This is how a situation also could look like when handled properly.

Well said Keith, To be honest I think people just report another staff as it's like a competition to see who gets a promotion. But lads remember, We're a Staff team we're here for each other and to help each other out, Everyone forgets a rule at some point as we're humans and we do make mistakes, Hopefully more staff can actually like trust other staff members and hopefully this post will get other staff members to stop spectating staff to see who breaks rules and report them, If it's a massive rule break then yeah report them but not for like something minor like if you see someone breaking a rule and they're staff then speak to them about it, They're really no need to just report them as 1) We make mistakes. We really need to regain trust within the staff team, So hopefully this post does it.
