TOPIC: PLEASE READ ALL STAFF MEMBERS

This actually started being a problem a long time ago when ZARP started to get more and more popularity back in February-May 2014. People would report each other for really stupid reasons to look better then the other one and they'd fight for the admin rank, since back in the days there were no admin applications and the admin was promoted similar to the super admin nowadays.

What this has actually shown is that the person that reported him for these stupid things was not ready for a rank at all and eventually resigned because he couldn't get the admin rank/got demoted because of abuse.

There was this one situation on TeamSpeak back in 2014 where (i think) someone made a sexual joke that was really harmless and he got to read a demotion request about himself 2 hours after.

What I am trying to say is that reporting for these kind of things doesn't make you look like a genius that knows how to administrate a server, but it makes you look like an idiot that can't stand a person and therefor doesn't want to work with them.

Here's an analogy about work, since I have done one of them a few weeks ago:
So let's say you recently got a job, and this guy, you don't like his personality. He doesn't bully you but you just don't like him. If you go to the boss then and want to tell him just that the first question he will ask is "Was he being rude/disrespectful to you" if you answer that with no, chances are big that the boss will say something along the lines of "alright, then you can fuck off." At least that's how it works in germany.

Now i know that theres some staff-members that are much younger but even there i have to say that you at least have to try and act mature. As much as age doesn't matter, age is also not an excuse for your actions.

And believe it or not: This opportunity to be a staff-member actually helps you to improve your professionalism for your future working life if you actually take the opportunity and act correctly.

This is a big part of team work, obviously as a team it's a good thing to actually be friends and have a good chemistry, but in a work environment it doesn't matter that you don't like a person, you have to work with him anyways.

So much yes. Some seem to use the spectate command just to bring others down and get promoted. The focus should go back to being there for the users instead of own ambition.

I have encouraged people on Deathrun to be chill with their way of staffing since I was a Moderator, sad to see it happening on SSRP but gladly we don't get much of it on Deathrun. Thanks for the post Keith, hopefully your level of authority will knock some sense into people.

I do see this quite frequently unfortunately, guys just remember we're on a team that is built around trust and team work. Most of the time just talking with the other staff will fix a misunderstanding or small rulebreak, and making a report only escalates it to an unneeded level. As this is built around trust if you use your staff position to more so spectate those you need to trust and work together, instead of enforcing the rules, it takes away from the quality of your duties on the server which in term gives everyone else a bad experience.

This needs to get bumped so desperatley since the staff problems are so high right now, the staff team is here to help each other out to prevent rulebreaking. There is no order and peace without it! The staff team is arguing and having fights with each other and regular users. You have the ability to speak to them and show them who's the boss and who you are, and not let them trash talk you and harass you. What's happening now is that the staff team is harassing each other and making fights which is completely unneccesery! If you have a problem with another staff member you need to sort it out as every men do it and not be a 3y/o child that keeps arguing and having fights! You are a staff member who needs to behave and be mature to be a rolemodel for regular users, instead of being a minge and near-rulebreak and disrespect/harass other users/staff members.

You are a staff member, so behave like one.
