Clarky's Resignation from ZARP

I have really enjoyed my time as staff on ZARP since March 2016 with ups and downs, times have been stressful but in the end I did really enjoy the experience with helping people out voluntarily, working & testing updates for both SSRP & Pointshop servers and much more to add on to this but it's time for me to go as I was demoted from Community Manager to SSRP HA, TS3HA, CC & Global Mod which I refused to take those ranks since i've clearly shown that i cannot fulfill attending meetings and failure to follow through with my sanction which wasn't on purpose at all, my demotion was not because of anything happening within the community in any harmful or negative manner exactly like the previous reports created against me and such.

I understand some of you guys may have had issues with me in the past and we never saw eye to eye but I’m willing to talk it out with anyone whether I’m staff or not, I’m just tired of the toxicity and grudges people always has against each other, including myself. It all started on September 2015 when a friend told me about ZARP and I decided to join S2 to give it a shot and was really enjoying my time there which lead to me buying VIP a month later so I could make more money quicker and so I could finally be the Master Thief/Gangster jobs as they were always full. A few months later, I got accepted for moderator on March 2016 and got admin two weeks later. Every week, I always enjoyed doing F1’s and always got close to 200 or above. September 2016, I was accepted for TTT SA which was a huge surprise and made me really happy to then I decided to work towards SA on SSRP and ended up getting it in less than a week, which then I had got HA in December 2016 and kept working hard until I resigned the first time in May 2017. I did come back as admin for a super short period of time but I didn’t like the LT practically spectating me all day as I’d always get caught up in shit so I decided to just stick to being a user for the time being until September 2017 where I had come back as Admin and kept working hard again. One year and one month later, I got CM and I was really proud to have such a high position in the community I loved being part of and helping. I always tried my best in talking to the community with their issues and such, was very active in meetings and did my very best to make ZARP a much better place. Until late summer 2019, I’ve been getting caught up with irl things and I ended up getting in trouble for not attending meetings as much so this had lead me to thinking about resigning for a while and it really isn’t an easy decision but it has to be done if I cannot dedicate the time into meetings any longer, I've fully lost the motivation to continue after being demoted from CM plus I just can’t enjoy SSRP anymore anyways hence why I gave all my stuff away.

I had done over 2500+ F1’s during my time as staff, handled countless amounts of reports & appeals and did always try to ensure I did my staff duties to a high standard.

Anyways here is what’s partially leading to my resignation and a couple of things I just want to say more in-depth:

Meetings
While I do understand as Community Manager attending the meetings is a very important factor, I used to attend every meeting before CM and after I had got CM too until around summer time where I had started working and instead decided to go out with friends. Back from 2016 - early 2019, I have attended majority of the meetings and always tried my best in giving opinions and such but nowadays I don’t really take meetings that serious anymore and end up memeing about instead (excluding CM Team meetings). I really did try to attend these meetings even under times where I didn’t feel like it at all, but it’s just gotten to a point where I don’t attend simply because I can’t be arsed with them anymore and that is something you guys wouldn’t like to see from a CM I suppose.

SSRP
I’ve played so much SSRP and really enjoyed everything it has to offer, especially the community hence why I stuck around for so long: the staff, the content, the players and most importantly what made my time on SSRP the peak was the Gang wars we had in summer 2017. Some of these moments can’t be relived simply because of what the meta is nowadays which I dislike but ZARP Classic was announced to change things up but I don’t want to wait any longer and force myself to play a server I once really loved playing to what it is right now. While I am excited for ZARP Classic, I think the plan it has simply will not work in the long term. I am sick and tired of being gluoned, tgunned, m202’d over and over and over and over because people have hundreds of these items so whether you rip them or not they will just come back and the same situation repeats itself, the weapons aren’t even to blame exactly but rather how they are reintroduced plus the Mummy Suit mechanic itself. I understand people work hard towards these items but this is just ridiculous for new players and this is why SSRP fails at getting consistent high players imo. Anyways I don’t want my demotion/resignation to be a debate for this sort of stuff, I’m just simply putting my opinion out there and that’s all so please don’t turn this thread into a cesspool where it ends up getting locked.

In the future, I do wish to come back as staff at some point but not until some of the mentioned issues have something done about them. I’ll be sticking around the community still and popping on Forums, TS, SSRP especially for the updates as I do enjoy them a lot, I really wish I were still able to be there for testing them.
