It's no surprise to many that a lot of people on the SSRP Staff Team do close to nothing and abuse the minimum requirement. It's also no secret that a lot of our staff do help out a lot and put time into this. It's important to remember that being staff is a volunteer position, not a job. It doesn't bring income to your families, it's a volunteer position where you can choose to leave whenever you want with no repercussions like it would if you left a job.
A lot of us in the staff team have heard the common phrase "quality over quantity" plenty of times. However, that's the context of F1 Counts. I'm trying to expand on this by applying it to the staff team. We have the largest staff team out of every server in ZARP, but we also have the most problems with getting staff on and doing their jobs.
Why is this a problem you ask? I feel that as a lead team we've been focused on a lot more bigger and more broad things and being less focused on staff for the past year or so, and it's resulted in us getting softer on the team and not pushing as harshly, etc.
I'm here today to propose that I will be working with the lead team to focus my full attention as a lead team member on improving the staff experience and support experience for users on the server. Hundreds of players complain each and every day about the lack of help with F1's and I'm getting a bit sick of seeing people bullshit and half ass their staff positions but they're selling things in their shop or running around.
If you're on the staff team and you really feel what I'm typing here and agree with me on returning it to a quality over quantity based team then if you're in game and see another staff member doing or expressing the behavior I've typed here today then let them know to step it up.

I noticed a few weeks before I got banned / quit that the staff don't seem to dish out punishments or do F1's unless they were affected by the rule breaker doing what they did, either that or when they do decide to do it, they've left it too late...

i hear tons of stories every single day about staff members not doing their job.
I personally want us to be a REAL team and help out when ever, where ever.
We applied for this "job" to help out the community, not just to run around with our admin badge beside our name.
Allot, and i mean ALLOT of regular players complain to me, others and in the ooc that they dont get the help they need, when ever i get on the servers, there are usually 10 - 20 f1s waiting.
This is a problem, and it has to be fixed very soon.
We have to make zarp a better place for everyone, not just ourselves.
I am trying, and few others are trying to get many on the "admin job", to do apeals on the forums, to do the f1s on the servers, to be a team and fight for a better zarp. But it always feels like its one against the whole world when it comes to this.

entry requirements must be put up along with weekly requirements, when i was staff on icefuse they were super strict with pretty much everything and it was hard being staff, this is good because it will enable people to be staff if they actually want to help the server not if they abuse the weekly requirements and do minimal work, although a balance needs to be found because on icefuse you were required to do a report as soon as it made which is actually super effective the maximum time i've waited was 2 minutes, but again its not as pleasant for the staff

I am so glad this is being addressed. One of the reasons I left the SSRP staff team was because I felt that sometimes when I was on the server people knew I do F1's no matter what and I felt like I was being used as a workhorse within the staff team. Another noticeable problem was when there was no lead team on the F1's would constantly stack up and only when specifically asked would some staff members start doing F1's. Recently the waiting time for F1's has been getting worse and worse. I would maybe like a more noticeable notification tab for waiting F1's so staff maybe get annoyed by it and it prompts them to do F1's more...
Anyway I am glad that this problem is going to be resolved with a bit of work.
