TOPIC: DarkRP Spectating for admins

So this could be an issue not entirely sure so let me put up a lil story:

When you become admin you get trusted with resposibility and powers, sometimes there will be abusers and sometimes there will be perfect admins. But after some time being admin i noticed something with the command Spectate. Its easy to abuse it.
Example: Bob wanna base with his friend Bib, Bob is an admin, Bob spectates Bib and Bob knows exactly where Bib is.

So you can abuse it by seeing where everyone is and just going there then. Spectate cant be seen by anyone so its totally secret and thats why it can be easy abused. So there need to be a way to fix it. and you can say admins are trustable, but what if admins are doing it and he is lieing about it. you cant really find a way to see if that admin is doing it or not. So myself, i have no idea what can fix it, but maybe other people know how.

It could come up in admin logs so other admins can catch the abusers?

i'd say ha+ should be able to see it but admins or mods or sa's not because it's ment to be used to check if people break rules or to report another staff member wich if they have this easy concole command everything that happens in console pops up on screen so they would be alerted and would not break rules for until you stop spectacting them .

Isnt it more for admin on dutys?

But i agree with you because you can see like one guy in his base and know were he is then change job when there are no f1s and go and raid them it is pretty easy to abuse I AGREE!

HA got spectate logs i have heard.

You can abuse with TP, it's something you're trusted not to abuse with.

meh it would be good if only on duty's could spectate.

It's part of the higher ranked staffs to watch over the admins & mods.

They have the ability to spectate and do have logs.

Head Admins have spectate logs.

I've suggested to Redpowder that if you are spectating someone, that you can see the TAB commands they use.

So if someone is abusing spectate, you would be able to tell by spectating them.

The Ol'Spectate abuse, good ol'times where us old folks still could do it! But we were the few who resisted, and now the rest of us bite the dust in disgust.
