TOPIC: Let's move to Xenforo or vBulletin

Hello.
The current forums from Kunena are really bad and slow. I think we should move to vBulletin or Xenforo, they're much faster and more organised.
Trust me, you should try them.

Our current forums work as good if not better then both of those. Kunena has better backend(ie administration) features and a look that doesn't feel like it was made in the 90's. As for the slowness of your load time that has no correlation to the type of system. My Page loaded in .06 seconds so its your connection to the site. Your also extremely vague on to what is unorganized.

vBulletin is pretty horrid.
never saw xenforo so cant say much on that.

Really, just small graphical changes are needed to make this site pretty

I don't really think that it's my connection It's really slow compared to other websites. Any page on here takes me 3-4 seconds to load, though almost any other website loads in <1 sec. Are the forum servers located in the USA by any chance? Maybe that's why it's slow in Europe

I quite like the forums like this for the size of our player base it is rather fitting.

I don't think we should move since Kunena Forum: loads fast (for me) , most of the people are used to it, perfect moderation and ' Index, Recent Topics... ' everything is well organised.

I am currently working on vBulletin and stability is quite horrible. Xenforo doesnt have very good possibilities if edit.
For me our forums work great and its quite fast.

Having experience with a lot of forum boards I can tell you Kunena is much better than both Xenforo and vBulletin. I'd pick SMF (Simple Machines Forum) as an alternate choice for a forum over both of those. Even still, Kunena comes out on top.
