[TTT SUGGESTION] Give Mods Force Name Change Power

For which server is the suggestion?
TTT server 1&2

How would it benefit the server:
Well I dont have to explain this one too much do I?
basically everytime someone has a dumb name thats either unreadable/unpunishable or racist etc, we have to wait for a big boi admin to come onto change their name as most wont listen to the mods.

Potential Issues/Exploits:
New staff or dumb bois abusing this power and changing to bad names or messing around.

Additional notes:
I think if a system were impletmented where an SA or HA manually gives you the power instead of just having it then it would stop mishaps and abusing, as the upper staff member would have to trust you enough and believe that you are responsible enough to give you the power.

Mods can already kick if people don't, it kinds of beats the purpose of the Admin role except you can ban. I think it is fine as it is due to if a staff goes rogue which has happened before and decides to change everyones name to racist words

It doesnt take away from admin, as admin isnt just about having a few more important commands its a symbol saying that you can be trusted more also its already kind of a glorified mod so this wouldnt really do anything, also if your going be that logic then every role is a glorifed role of it's previous haha.
Also its kinda overkill just going "Oh dont wanna change your name, huh? Bye bye!"

I just want to change a name instead of#contact request or bloody commiting overkill and kicking someone for having the name @.@!

Also Ive gave a mechanic in the additional notes if you looked Owl haha it says only HA or SA or higher have to manually give you the command as therefore it cannot be abused with ease, it is only given to those a higher up trusts!

I understand what youre saying but I mean I dont find it fair to kick for names like @.@ Im not kicking for that, Id kick for racism or homophobia but i would not because they have punctuation only as their name.

In my opinion I think it's fine the way it is, it isnt overkill if you do kick someone as first of all their name is against the rules and second of all if they dont listen to you after you ask them to change it's easily deserved., I'm pretty sure it sticks on their rap sheet too so in the future if the same thing happens again staff would know what's up with him.

A kick is fine for this if it was really impacting how people play. 99% of the time an admin+ is available to log on a change a name should it be needed.

Sorry, I don't see a need for this.

If there arent any admins on then they shouldnt have to be disturbed from their current business just to change a name, hence why i made this post in the first place.

A kick is potentially losing a player from the server. Easily changing their name would be so much better and it can just be abused as everything else can.

Hes got a brilliant point name change can be abused just as much as say !slay can be.
Actually in my opinion name change may actually be abused less say If a staff feels like abusing what are they gonna choose a slay or a namechange huh (depends on the severity of them i understand but personally i believe they are more likely to choose something harsher than changing your name to something like "dickhead")

The reason this is a bad idea is that name changes are not logged

Considering even admins abused the command I don’t think giving it to mods is a good idea.
