Suggestion Title:
Prevention of newly/recently registered Users to post links on the Forums.

How would it benefit the server:
Alright, so, there hasn't been a day when at least 10 random people advertised something on the Forums. My idea was to make it mandatory for Users to do/have one of the following things done/acquired:

► Connect their Steam accounts to the Forums
► Have at least 5-10 posts
► Have bought VIP

...in order to post links.

Potential Issues/Exploits:
N/A

Additional notes:
The topics will automatically be declined if they have a link in it and the threads will not be posted of course. Hopefully this will prevent those frequent advertisements.

You mean some time to spend forum to post links

Wouldn't be practical for users who are trying to report bugs or other players (they might need to attach links to images/videos).

Just inform a global mod before you delete the post so we can get evidence of the post and report the account as a spammer (which is sent off to a 3rd party service to detect possible spam accounts in the future).

As much I find it annoying too, this isn't the best way to deal with spam accounts.

This wouldn't work, there was a spam bot on the forums recently that posted seemingly regular posts such as introducing itself as a player. Then after 3 or 4 posts it started posting spam threads

It is the job of the staff to handle situations like that and this does not happen every hour, this only tend to happen sometimes..
If we all make everything this easy than what is your job or others, what is the purpose of having staff?
Required to donate for to be able to use links sounds stupid imo.

Just as an FYI, every time we ban a spam bot our protection gets stronger as it reports all their emails and IP's used.
