I can definitely understand as to why you don't agree with what i suggested. Though my other idea that just occurred to me is this:

ZARP is currently a Garry's Mod community, why not make it mandatory for people to provide their Steam link/Steam ID when Signing Up. So from this point on, Users will be required to insert the information mentioned. We will automatically decrease the chances of people making ALT accounts (unless they have an ALT on Garry's Mod of course) and prevent advertisers.

The information would be inserted, preferably, below the Username. Opinions on this?

I don't really have an issue with that honestly. I'm just remaining conservative about the ease-of-registration; we don't want to make players have to jump through hoops just to sign up on the forums i.e. they might want to report a player for breaking rules but then never use the forum again.

So, I don't have any real qualms with linking with a steam account, but asking for VIP/post counts is just a bit much in my eyes.
