TOPIC: [TTT] Suggestion

Suggestion Title: Knives for all types of roles but traitor knives kill instantly but all role knives take 4 hits to kill and skins for the knives

How would it benefit the server: I know it's not necessary but it gives the game a nice addition and it might attract more players to the server

Potential Issues/Exploits: Might be hard to code in the game

I do see issues with giving knives to all roles, the knife is known mostly as a traitor weapon so new users could easily get confused if the innocent role all had knives as well. The skins for knives would defiantly be a welcome addition and would fit very well into the current unlock system. Oh and nerf the T knife its dumb.

How would you determine what kind of knife someone is holding?? You wouldn’t be able to KOS someone for holding a knife in front of you anymore because every one has a knife. I respect the urge to bring new stuff to the server and increase popularity but you gotta think in terms of how it’s gonna effect gameplay. E.g.
1. If I see a traitor with a shotgun, am I really gonna have to go up to them and poke them 4 TIMES while they can kill be in half the one it takes to do that.
2. The knife is, and always has been on TTT, a Unique thing. If every guy has one then it neuters the Appeal of a T weapon. Why not give everyone a teleporter but it has less uses? Or everyone having a newton launcher but doesn’t launch as far? The whole point of a T menu is that it offers unique items not offered to every player.
3. Knives are annoying enough anyway, we really don’t need up to 47 of them running around.
4. Back to my original point, how would you determine what kind of knife someone has? Would they all look the same or would they have some kind of visual effect? You could always just wait til someone kills you with it and then check how much health you have at the end of it, but then ARDM comes into it.

Again, I respect you trying to make the server a more fun place, but more knives is not the way to go AT ALL.

I understand what u mean Traitor knives don't have skins but normal knives have skins

At this moment I don't feel this is a good idea, knifes just don't seem a good idea as a melee weapon. If you have any new ideas for melee feel free to suggest those instead.
