TOPIC: Opening up a PERP Server (Pulsar Effect Roleplay)

Suggestion Title: Reopen the PERP Server
How would it benefit the server:
ZARP previously had an original PERP 3 server before every host started customising their PERP server. It did fairly well from what I remember and at the moment there is a lack of PERP Servers (and a lack of PERP servers that are clean, organised and not broken)
Potential Issues/Exploits:
The gamemode that I will be using if I am commissioned to setup a PERP server will be a stable and modified version of PERP 3 which performs well, correctly and is clean and organised. Due to the way that PERP attraction has changed over the years, New weapons, vehicle system and various reworks will need to be done to "modernise" the gamemode but I am willing to put a lot into doing this. It will take a while to get it to a well upgraded point though.

this is what I wrote before there was a template. There is a video showcasing how I had my PERP gamemode running previously before I forgot to pay the server bills and got deleted.

I have been a ZARP member since back in 2013 and remember there being a PERP Server. I'm aware that when Agent gave the community over, the PERP Server was abandoned due to the gamemode being unstable and not enough people willing to spend time working on it.

I currently am in possession of a very stable version of PERP 3 and will be willing to bring it up to a better standard with up-to-date features (don't expect miracles but I can put a decent bit of effort into making the gamemode work well and fairly stable)
Obviously in the deal will be that I develop the server. I'm sure many people here are interested in having a PERP gamemode again. I am currently unable to host the gamemode myself due to the fact I am already paying for servers that are not able to cope for another server (especially PERP).

I have been a developer very briefly for this community before (namely JailBreak and Deathrun) when I had less experience.

Would anyone be interested in having a PERP server and would ZARP be willing to run it?

Not to be misleading, there are issues with the gamemode, but they will be sorted.

Slight misunderstanding. I should have made it clear that I'm not looking for money. I want to do this off my own back because I enjoy doing it. I like developing in Garry's Mod and I want to see a different type of PERP server about.

LoL you making deals so we can use the game mode if you cared so much about the community you would give it to them. You also can’t be that good of a developer if you have your own servers and have time to use your skills on someone else’s server. If I was chute I’d tell you to take your gamemode and go fuck yourself. I’m sure if they cared so much about getting a perp gamemode they would make one.

Also what’s pulse effect role play ? I hope they ban your mom if that’s your shitty server you’re advertising.

And if you are being an arse hole to me because I titled the thread Pulsar Effect, as someone else has already mentioned, it is the name of the gamemode and the name of the community once hosting it until it got leaked years ago.

Look I’m sure you’re a sound person but you put this “Obviously in the deal will be that I develop the server. ” and to me that means you want something and tbh there is WAY to many people who just want shit now a days in return of doing something for the community they “Love”. If you would of said something like and I have the game mode and willing to give it to chute and hopefully he lets me develop for it I would of been like oh nice that’s a good guy right there.

Yeah I understand what the pulse shit meant but because you said you had servers I wanted to make sure you was clear that you wasn’t using that name like others have in the past and I don’t mean the original name owner.

Your best bets is to go to one of the CMs / Owners and just say look I’ve got this game mode I wanna help thencommunty. I can fix it up now and you can check it out and if you guys wanna get in to it then it’s yours and hopefully you continue to let me develop for it.

Anything’s if you have seen my Steam I’ve not even for a couple months I just come on here to catch Assholes out because lately it’s just been fuckers wanting shit and chatting shit without even wanting to put any work in.

A good look on your project and also if you’re interested they have a nice fixed version of perp 3.5 on hackforums somewhere.
