I would give who were spamming in voice chat or text chat one warning before banning them from the server, I feel like one warning should be enough for someone to think: "maybe I should stop spamming the chat." The same go's for if someone's harassing people, one warning should be enough for them to stop.

I think I'm a genuinely nice person, I have a good judge of character and can tell if someone is just being too much of a jerk. And I don't think I abuse power that much, I can exercise restraint and maintain a trustworthy user of moderator tools and power. I'm also a pretty good problem solver, I think I could stop a lot of arguments and harassment in game.
