Before I delve into the heart of the application, I would like to take some time to share some of my story that lead me to Zarp. I used to play and staff for Friendly Players years ago, I achieved the rank of Super Admin on Jailbreak and Moderator/Operator on DarkRP. To give a little more insight to this, DarkRP for FP started at Member then Moderator/Operator, so I did climb slightly and not just hit the bare minimum. These are accomplishments I look back on fondly as they were my first forays into staffing and I feel I learned quite a bit during the time that has set the tone for how I handle administrating today.

I eventually took a break from gaming in general and resigned from all my positions within FP. After I spent some time getting my life in order and spending time working on myself, I returned to FP where I once again achieved the rank of Admin within Jailbreak and Moderator/Operator on DarkRP. I held these positions for quite some time and only became a better and more experienced staff member due to this. Eventually FP hit a rough patch and I felt that I was no longer able to provide the community with services worthy or retaining my ranks and I stepped away from Gmod for quite some time.

That is up until about 3 months ago, were I felt an urge to once again mess around in Gmod. I knew of Zarp due to the connection with FP and figured that if I was going to spend my time in Gmod, it should be in a community I have some insight to. What originally started to kill time has turned into the same passion I had all those years back in FP. I realized that being a user was not for me, I wanted to help and I knew I could do so in a big way. In a short time, I could obtain the rank of Super Admin, a title I am incredibly appreciative of and one I hope I have represented well since achieving.

I told myself before I applied for Moderator that I would only commit myself to Gmod again if I feel I can make a noticeable impact on SSRP. I am not one that is complacent by nature. I strive to be an example others can look to for guidance in all that I pride myself in. That said, I greatly enjoy being a Super Admin, but I feel I can assume the title of Head Admin and offering my services in a way that could only be amplified by the privileges bestowed upon the rank. I am very confident in my abilities because I know what I am capable of. I hope that I have shown to you, the community, enough that you are willing to share the same confidence I have in myself with me. I only wish to assist Zarp be the best it can be.

Now that I have shared a general overview of my experience staffing and my personal feelings as to what I am capable of, I would like to present my case for Head Administrator. I can write as much emotionally loaded personal text as I want, but that is not how I want to be judged as a candidate. I intend to by the end of my app offer a variety of reasons and traits that will convince you I am more than capable of becoming a Head Administrator and that I should be the next one for Zarp SSRP.


Why should I be chosen? I should be chosen as the next Head Administrator due to a culmination of my characteristics, dedication, and ability to lead.




Friendly: I pride myself on being a friendly individual and welcoming to all, regardless of creed, race, or ethnicity. I know to some I can come off as brash at times, but I am comfortable in saying that those that have spent any extended period with me will vouch for me that my intent is always to elevate the experience for all, not demean. I have worked to reign in and better control how I react around those unfamiliar with me and I think it has shown ever since Coutinroy gave me the critique back on my Super Admin application. Even if that may sound bad, I am confident that this issue, if it can be considered one, is incredibly minor and that I have been often, a pleasant and enjoyable person to most of the community.

Honest: I am an honest individual to a fault. I find no joy or reasoning in lying. There is no pride to protect that would jeopardize my ability to share the truth always.

Determined: As I said before, I am not a complacent man. Failure does not hinder me, it motivates me. I have made many mistakes in the past, but they are taken as lessons for improvement, not moments of shame that I seek to hide. I constantly strive to better my own person and those I surround myself with as I know I can be influential. Once I have a goal set there is not much that will stop me in my pursuit for what I feel is correct.

Cooperative: I do not let personal issues/grudges deter me from doing my job. I am more than capable of looking past previous issues with users and fellow staff for the betterment of the server and others. I have worked with numerous individuals, both staff and users.to help assist them in whatever issues they may be suffering from. Whether it be cooperating in something as simple as basing to the more complex issues surrounding inner staff relations, I am excited to assist and find a solution to all issues.

Sincere: I have no hidden intentions or agenda. My sole purpose in Zarp is to better the experience for all that chose to spend their free time with us. I do not scheme to wrong others and my intentions are pure. I am not one that is looking to undercut fellow staff and players to help myself ascend as I truly care about the community.

My reasoning for sharing these characteristics is to paint a picture of how I view myself and hopefully how others view me.



While my time in Zarp as not nearly as extensive as some currently serving as staff, I am 100% committed to the betterment of the community. While I may not always be online and playing, I strive to be accessible in as many ways as possible. People often can contact me through Steam, TeamSpeak, Discord, WhatsApp, etc. to alert me to any issues they have. Unless I'm asleep, I am almost always able to respond within 20 minutes. I want to be the person people can go to for help regardless of the situation or time. I can often be found jumping between servers at the requests of players to help the server when they are at their worst, even at times that are often foreign to NA based players such as myself.



I have and always will be a Leader. Anything I become passionate about, I work to reach a leadership position. Whether it be baseball, football, staffing, gaming teams, I often find myself in a role of responsibility. I am not one that desires power for some sort of self-satisfaction. I enjoy climbing and earning the respect of my peers and being entrusted to lead through my character and accomplishments. I can be stern, but am always willing to adjust my demeanor and approach in hopes of better meshing with fellow LTMs and players. I do not view myself as above others when leading. I strive to be a leader people off all ranks, or lack thereof, can be proud of and approach with any and all issues that may plague them, server related or not. My intentions are to serve Zarp and its people in any capacity that I can.



I understand this is rather lengthy and that the majority will not read my application. I hope that my actions on and off the server and the countless amounts of time and effort I have put into my time here at Zarp have already convinced people that I am capable of assuming the role and responsibility of Head Administrator. I appreciate the already great trust and responsibility that has been entrusted in me as a Super Admin. I hope those that initially trusted me making the jump to SA, have even greater faith in me after watching me progress from the mod to the SA I am today. I know that as a HA, I will be able to handle a larger variety of issues in a more fulfilling way that will only benefit the community. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I would very much love to see Chummy as more than just as a Head Admin, he honestly fits a community manager role perfectly. Viking said only 1% of what Chummy is the other 99% are even better things that go way beyond being staff!

I would honestly be suprised to see anything remotely negative about him in not just the feedback to this application but to him in general.
