Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match is when a player randomly kills someone for no reason or with no sufficient proof of them doing a traitorous act, this includes killing on suspicion.

Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario:
1. If you see someone with a traitor only weapon and they have not called out that they got it from a dead traitor.
2. If you see someone murder someone and not check the body to confirm it’s a traitor (it’s important to not prematurely fire or KOS someone because they could be killing a T, though they should call a KOS to avoid confusion)
3. If everybody else alive is proven via tester you can KOS the odd man out, though you should be 100% positive they are proven.

Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:
1. KOSing someone off of location, for example, if you were to see someone run out of the tower on minecraft b5 and you find an unided in the middle that isn’t allowed or if you were to say “kos top of tower”, that’s too general and lacks sufficient proof.
2. KOSing someone because they defended themselves against an innocent and explained the situation, if you didn’t see it then you have to assume it’s true but you can still put suspicion on them.


Why I should be promoted: I wasn’t really looking to apply for anything but a mod named Grumpy Marshmallow on the server basically said I had a nice temperament for the position and urged me to make an application. Though I’m flattered he asked me to apply it’s not surprising since I’ve been staff on servers, other games and Twitch.tv for years so at this point it’s basically second nature to just carry myself like a mod. Though sometimes when I go on UK servers I face a lot of animosity since I’m from the US I have had a very warm welcome in Zarp TTT. There was a big gap with no mods online and the amount of rdm that went on was atrocious and since I live in a different time zone I would prevent that by playing when most mods would be asleep. I make a point to look at every single situation without bias, there’s nothing that infuriates me more than abusive staff on servers, so that’s one department you wouldn’t need to worry about and since I’ve already been staff on servers I already know how the system works and wouldn’t need anybody to teach me. I would be able to hit the ground running and I think I’d make a very valuable asset to the staff.

I suggest you get more gametime.

I appreciate the response and that's a valid concern, though I have plenty of game time on Garry's mod in general and TTT is by far my most played game mode. I'll be able to put in a lot of hours fast but if you still see it as a huge issue I could happily wait and try again.

It's good that you're keen to join the TTT staff team. You seem like a fairly mature individual, which often does not come across through an application. Normally we expect around 1-2 weeks of activity on our TTT server specifically to be considered for the position.

We do include your previous experience in our internal discussions concerning your application. As I mentioned earlier however, we do normally expect about 1-2 weeks activity on our specific server itself, just as reassurance you play frequently throughout the week.

Showing interest was no problem at all, I'd actually like to thank all of you for paying mind to my application. I look forward to working with everybody (hopefully) and striving for a better, cleaner server.

You seem like a generally good player and it is a good thing you feel you are ready to apply for TTT staff, aslthough you game time does let you down which is quite a big no no, I recommend waiting until next week or possibly even the week after so every staff member has something good to say about you and you are liked but until then

I suggest you to wait 1 more week. Get a Decent Activity and apply again. So more staff members can see that you are mature and know the rules. You can change the title to: TTT Gryph's Application (To be reviewed at 20/11/2016) if you want your Application to be reviewed next week.
