TOPIC: CyberWolf's SSRP Moderator Application

Last week I applied for moderator and was declined because I was an admin on my friends server. As you will find out further down my application I explain that I resigned from his server. You may also see that I have 2 warnings. I got them the other day for Killing as a mutant in spawn. This was a slight miss understanding of the rules because I thought as a mutant I'm fine to kill who I want, when I want but I now know that is not the case and will not do it again. The other was for NLR. I had just been killed in spawn as the Mutant and I was standing still for NLR timer to tick down. The mod that warned me did not know that at the time and didn't give me chance to explain. I hope this doesn't make it harder for me to get the role of moderator and I promise never to break the rules again. You may also see my estimated server time and game tracker times don't match. This is because I created game tracker a while after I first started playing zarp

RDM occurs when player x kills player y for no reason. An example for this would be if a gangster was about to buy armor but the godfather walked in and randomly killed the gangster.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example.

NLR occurs when player x kills player y and player y goes back to the place of death. An example of this would be if player y was raiding player x but player x kills player y during the raid but player y goes back to the area where they died during the raid.


Explain "Metagaming" and give an example.
Metagaming occurs when a player is saying/asking stuff in ooc that should be said in normal chat. An example of this would be if player y was being raided and they asked who was pick locking their door.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First I would tp them both to me and then ask player x to explain what happened, then I would ask player y to explain what happened. After that I would ask for evidence from player x if they didn't have some i would verbal warn player y but if player x does have proof then I will examine it and if it shows that player y had rdmed him I would then warn player y and send them both off to enjoy the rest of their day


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would ask for some proof of player Y breaking NLR. If there is no proof then I would TP player Y back home but I would warn player X for RDM because they don't have the authority to do that but if player X has a valid reason for it then I would verbally warn him for RDM and keep a close eye on them both. However if there is proof of player Y breaking NLR I would warn player Y for NLR and I would leave them to be on there way.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided.
I would go and help player x defend his base and then I would ask him why he used OOC and tell him he shouldn't have done that because it is metagaming. If he didn't know that I would tell him to read the server rules and make sure he knew about it so it wouldn't happen again. If he did know about it then I would warn him for metagaming and I would let him be on his way.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I should be chosen because I am very responsible and reliable. I can be reasonable but harsh at the same time and I'm often on the server. I resigned from my admin on my friends server to become a mod on Zarp. I have many friends on the server and I don't break the rules. I'm all about having fun in a friendly environment. I know how the controls work and I know all the short cuts. When the map changed I was confusing at first but I studied the map and know my way around quickly. I'm very fair and rashonable. Every time I have reported an incident using F1 it has been dealt with straight away and I have always wanted to do the same and I fell like I need to give something back to the community. I have some of the best times while playing with zarp and will play on zarp servers for many years to come.

Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided.That's a trivial matter, the important thing is that Player X committed Metagaming.

I don't know if you have any warnings, recent or old.

I told you on your last application that it was really lacking and made it look as if you didn't understand the rules and how to handle stuff at all. Yet you copy and paste it once again, please put more work into it and make sure it is correct. If you don't know how to fill it in correctly or you don't understand the questions you might want to wait before you apply for staff.
