Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match (also known as RDM) is the act of killing someone without reason. This is not to be confused with assault which is illegal in the RP but not againt the rules. Reasons to kill someone are: raiding your base (lockpicking/keypad cracking), not leaving your base after a warning, following you after a number of warnings, shooting at you, have a hit on them etc. Any killing that is not provoked and doesn't have a reason behind it is RDM, this rule is here to stop you being repeatedly killed unfairly, and to make the gameplay enjoyable. An example of RDM is seeing someone that annoyed recently, walking up to them and killing them.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
New Life Rule or NLR is a rule made up of 2 very simple elements, 1: To not go back to the general area to which you were killed at for 3 minutes after death, and 2: to not remember how or why you died. It's actually a very simple rule but is one of the most commonly broken due to the urge we all have to run back and kill our raiders, however it must be obeyed to improve everyone's gameplay. An example of NLR would be not selling someone an item due to them raiding your shop and killing them earlier.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario:
Metagaming is quite simply talking in character in the OOC (OUT of character) chat. /advert should be used for in game events, althought sometimes can be used for OOC purposes, like an admin advertising an event. It's very simple and not the biggest issue on the server as it's easily prooved but still an important rule none-the-less. An example of this would be saying "Drop 2k or die" in the OOC chat.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would ask for the reason player y killed played x, if he gave a reason use player x and the console to proove/disproove his response. If I cannot proove not disproove it no warning will be given, if it is prooven that it was RDM player y would recieve a warning, if it was prooven that player y did not RDM then player x would be given 1 (possibly 2 depending on the extent of it) for lying to a moderator.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would first ask if player y would like to contend to this as it is not solid proof but very likely that NLR was broken. If he cannot contest it with a good reason then a warning will be given to player y, however if the kills were a little far apart (using common sense to decide) then it would just be a verbal warning given.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
Very simple, inform player x what metagaming is and give him a warning for it.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words):
I have been playing Zarp for a number of months now and have found it to be the best DarkRP server I could find. When I find really good servers like this one I feel I should contribute to it by helping out. I have been a moderator before on a Minecraft server but chose to leave the position due to the terrible quality of admins (not like Zarp of course ). I have a good understanding of the rules, I don't lie when I click "I agree to the rules". I always do my best to help people and would love to be able to take the ridiculous strain off of the F1 reports that I have noticed recently at times. I know I'm not the oldest person to apply but I am mature enough to take on this job. I really do love this server and want to be a part of it, helping people to have a fun time and an enjoyable gameplay experience for everyone. I really hope that you choose me to be a part of this awesome group of staff on a great server. Thanks very much for reading my application and know that, if you hire me, I won't let you down. I recently posted a mod app and it got denied purely because of my previous breaking of rules, so I took this criticism constructively and have barely been warned since. I have worked hard to just play and help people as much as I can and hope that you can see that I've changed. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, I won't let you down

Biggest try hard for Admin i have ever seen on a server, if this is approved i will contemplate reality and leave. Its a no from me boss.

i do not think he should be accepted becasue in game for the last 2 hours he has went out of his way to get me either demoted from jobs and or kicked off the server. he has a vendetta against me when i did nothing wrong and i dont think he would be a good mod or admin if he randomly has vendettas against people

All I see is Phantom in OOC calling people out on petty rules and breaks most of them himself, If he gets Mod I don't think anybody would want to be around Zarp when he is on "Duty".

I don't see a Mod in you. You try to hard to get mod and I can see you abusing if you get it. I have also seen you ming and break rules.

I don't think there's anything wrong in trying hard.I demoted you once, you then random demoted me twice for the reason "random demote".I don't view any rules as "petty", they are all important, and what rules do I break? I've been warned about 4 times in the last 3 months.Thankyou very much for letting me know, I have changed it.Once again, there is nothing wrong in trying hard, and also (assuming you mean minge, not filth) I don't minge and rarely break rules.
I admit I'm not perfect guys but I really didn't appreciate you two going around the server rounding up people to post a bad comment on my app.

I find funny that people don't want phantom to become mod.
He has only been warned 4 times in 3 months and I think it is hard for him with people not giving him any support.
From what I see here people simply just hate Phantom which is not that good since he has proven that he is capable of actually knowing all the rules without looking at them, Phantom knows the rules off-by-heart and when I ask him about the rules, he knows it.
Most of you people that have commented here in a "-Support" way I have seen getting endlessly warned. Making Fredy Newman as an example he has (A few days ago) literally RDM'ed me about 7 times and also broke NLR about 3 times as well, and I'm not even mentioning all of the other times he has broken the rules.
Another example, Mr Anderson has managed to try and demote Phantom twice for his job which is abusing the "/demote" command and still, not mentioning all the other times he has broken the rules
I have also seen pretty much all of the people in the E.T.A. organisation Metagame and RDM which includes Fredy Newman (What a surprise), I will say, I do not like E.T.A. that much partly since they have broken rules like metagaming and advert abusing. Anyway, Phantom's app seem quite flawless to me apart from getting warned about 4 times which is not much compared to Fredy Newman who is even got the Mod and Admin's eye on him thanks to his constant rulebreaking and I expect him to get a ban soon.
And the fact that Fredy Newman and Mr Anderson have been going around on the server trying to get people to post a bad comment on the app is pretty sad.
So people, don't think wrong of this guy just because of your RolePlaying experience with him, He obviously knows the rules even if he is only "Calling people out on petty rules", which is a good trait to have.

It is a +Support from me since this guy knows the rules off-by-heart which is hard even for an admin.

He does not randomly have "Vendetta's" against anyone and if he would have it'd be for a good reason, plus just hating people wouldn't stop the mod/admin still giving a good moderating service anyway.

I Know you and phantom are in cahoots so your bias opinion isn't valued by anyone here.

To clear things up about "Petty Rules". It's when I see you in OOC causing drama because of things like 1 line of advert abuse when you abuse the exact same thing yourself. If you was a Mod would you really punish somebody because of that?

You didn't have to reply to each comment individually and create spam.

Calling people out in OOC is not a good trait as it encourages people to call admins through it. If you have a genuine problem then create an F1, not spam OOC. Also just knowing the rules does not make a good mod.

30 hours game time and have seen you break several rules.
I would suggest you to increase your game time before you apply for Moderator.

That is a lie because i saw you advert abuse yesterday!

Ok Doginator, please do not post that many posts just to simply address each individual post as it creates spam and floods the topic. If you could edit your original post and make additions then that would help.

I understand that you and Phantom are friends but it is his application and he should know how to take the criticism and learn from it so if he can take it then you do not need to reply for him. If Hahzy (killer11761) says that in his opinion that Phantom is not mod material then it is his choice to reply with that or not, I mean after all it is the admins that vote on the applications at the end of the week.

Also if he knew the rules off by heart then he wouldn't be warned as much as he is on a daily basis. I see him break rules on occasion and there are mods and admins that know the same. Just because somebody has been warned/kicked/banned doesn't mean they are going to be denied. I am a good example as I was banned for 5 weeks and 2 days then it was revoked after I made an appeal and a week later I was accepted as mod.

Anyway from now on please let people reply freely on this application. And if I see someone in-game trying to get players to go onto other applications and write false replies then it will be dealt with I can assure you that.
