How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:

Besides the obvious: a better understanding of the ulx command, learning how to handle reports better, being more active in meetings, being more active on the forums, being more active on ts3 I have also learned to take quality over quantity when it comes to the reports I handle. I have made better and stronger relationships with the rest of the community (from users to head admins), I understand how to properly handle abusive player/staff members and of course handle warn appeals/reports.

What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? :

Activity

My activity is very consistent and I do a lot of things to help out the server even when not playing.

Behavior in-game

When in-game I'm always friendly and always try to look after every user to make sure they are having fun. I never break the rules and I always get out of my way punishing rule-breakers. I'm also very friendly and a lot of the dedicated users seem to like me. Some of them always greet me when I join the server and of course I greet everyone back.

Lead team experience

I have had a lot of experience being a lead team member in the past (look at signature). I have gotten used to how the lead team role works on Zarp as well as how to act accordingly. My training is very detailed and I may seem too laid back at times when it comes down to important situations I am very professional.


Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:

Beacuse of my lead team experience on other servers I haven't run into a problem that I couldn't solve on my own, the only issue so far has been hackers since admins don't have access to the anti-cheat

Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:

After reviewing the report if the evidence does not lead to a clear yes/no then I will bring both the accuser and the accused to Teamspeak to have a chat with them.After that, I will decide if the staff member is guilty or innocent and act accordingly.

Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?

First I would talk to the staff member and explain to him for how long a player should be banned according to his actions. Then I would adjust the ban to what it should be. If however, the staff member thinks reacts in an aggressive manner or he does the same mistake again then heavier consequences will have to be put in order.

A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?

The staff team is here to make time on the server more enjoyable not to cause more chaos. I would bring that staff member to Teamspeak and link him to the staff Ethos page where I will discuss with him how he should treat other players like.If he continues to deal with users in an inappropriate manner then he will be punished.

A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?

First of all this scenario is highly unlike since most of don’t break the rules but on the rare occasion that this happened I would act as following: bring both staff members to Teamspeak, talk to them try to figure out what’s going on, see both people's point of view on the situation, if the staff member is found guilty then he will be punished accordingly, if not then I would make sure that whoever accused said a staff member of breaking the rules is surer/has more evidence of it happening before he jumps to any conclusion.

A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?

First of all bring both members into Teamspeak, then I would ask them to stop arguing. when things have finally calmed down I would talk to them see what the problem is, make sure that they can "argue" in a more appropriate manner instead of shouting at each other.If they start arguing again then they will be punished accordingly.

You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?

First of all I would make sure they stop rule-breaking, after that I would bring them on team speak where I have a talk to them about the rules how they should always be obeyed (after pointing out his mistakes) and tell them that it’s better to ask questions if unsure then to act in a way that would get you demoted.

I keep seeing a comment of what i think is invalid reasoning that is annoying me.
"There are way too many LT members right now (so, you won't get accepted)"-kinda comment.
I don't care how true to reality this is [basicly just shot and killed my argument on arrival LOL :lol:]
BUT my argument is:
There are no limits on how many lead team members can be accepted into the team at any given time.
- ZARP Policies - Voting on Lead Team Applications - Limits on accepted lead team members
I interpret that as:
There are no limits on how many lead team members can be on the lead team at any given time.

(so therefore its not a valid reason for anyone to be denied)

I prefer Stephen or Ross as SA and deserve it more from what I've seen, most of the time you are in spectator mode from what I witness and I do not believe you are doing reports the whole time

As mentioned in my application I do a lot more than just in game reports, only the lead team knows about it so I wouldn't blame you for not trusting my word for it. I do also handle in game reports which can also be confirmed by my report count. Please also remember a super admin isn't meant to do an admin's job so simply being a good admin doesn't mean you deserve super admin

That part of the policy is more applying to the fact that the lead team cannot use a reason such as “The lead team is full. We cannot accept anyone”. However, LT members can still state that they believe they do not need anymore LT members due to work on the server for example, they may not see any reports being left for ages and see other staff being dealt with by the LT quickly. If they see this happening then they may decide to get more but overall they would look for what Nick is doing in game/forums.

There is a reason why there is a clear distinction between the lead team and the regular staff team, the regular staff team's job is only to make sure the server is kept in check, the lead team on the other hand has more things to deal with, for example reports of abuse, trainings, and more. Therefore a super admin that only staffs on the server isn't a good super admin because he isn't fullfilling his lead team duties.

I know super admin isn't meant to do a admin job and which would be ridiculous if it would but no and I do believe you are a fine candidate. I just believe that there are others that earn it more from what I am aware. What I said was from what I witness (aware of) so if you do something for the LT then I couldn't know due I don't have the onenote or what the LT uses these times.
