Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
RDM (Short for Random Death Match) is a punishable offence which occurs when a player kills a different player with no valid reason.
Example:
Player A is at the Fountain District,
Player B approaches.
Player B takes out a firearm and murders
Player A for no given reason, thus resulting in RDM.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
NLR (Short for New Life Rule) is also a punishable offence which occurs when a player is killed at place
X and returns to place
X while still being under the given NLR timer of the server.
Example:
Player B tries to rob
Player A's base and is killed.
Player B returns to the base as soon as he respawns and kills
Player A.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
You are handling a report in which player A accuses player B of killing them for no reason in a report via the F1 system.
I would teleport myself to a location where I would not be disturbed while handling the F1 report, afterwards I would bring
Player A to me and ask who he/she thinks is responsible for the RDM, however if already written in F1, I would ask
Player A again if they are sure. If they concur, I will bring
Player B to the sit and first ask
Player A to elaborate more on what occured. Then I would like to hear
Player B's side of the story as well. To make sure I will check the logs to see if the stories match.
If they do, I will give out the correct warning to
Player B.
If they do not match, If there are not other obligations at that time directed to me, I will take a more in depth look at the event, otherwise I will bring
Player A and
Player B to their previous locations. If
Player A does not succeed in showing efficient proof of
Player B killing him with no reason and consider if I will give
Player A a warning for a false F1, although it can occur as a honest mistake, F1 is reserved for rational reasons.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
You witness a user mass RDMing in spawn, killing many people constantly to the point where users are complaining.
I would immediately freeze
Player X who is the cause of this act to prevent further damage to other players. I will ask
Player X to elaborate on why he engaged in the act of RDM against several players. After given a reason, no matter the outcome, it is not justifiable, I will give out a warning for mass RDM which will be a massive contribution to
Player X's ban if they continue to break rules. If a player who had fallen victim to the act had lost something of great value, I will vouch for a refund.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words):
I am resolute to the assignment and responsibility of a staff member, and my attitude and the measures I take in consideration can tremendously contribute to a part within the community. My presence is seen on SSRP servers daily, on occasion a mere inactivity in my consistent activity pattern. The F1 system is paramount, I ought to take deep consideration when handling a report. Other than that, I see my time on Zarp as of great value and it can be converted to benefit it. Given that my current time spent on the server is slight, during that I have learned the ropes, thus carrying out the task of staff is uncomplicated and undeviating.
