Plans as Head Administrator:
Most of my plans have been fulfilled regarding WHAT should happen in current time already through my influence as Super Administrator, but I want to create ideals in which keeps us in this position. As the meme goes, I heavily dislike friend bias getting you places, and this is something I want to maintain.
I want to make sure every Lead Team member is very approachable and open about their plans with the server, I feel everyone has a voice and a chance at redemption. One of the few things we still need to work on is culling staff members, our staff team as of recent has recently picked up a lot of recruitment after a dry spell, which is great! Unfortunately, what comes with this is a lot of demotions eventually, but I feel our staff team is too soft regarding even handing out officials.
I feel the server is in a really strong position in regard to Lead Team and Ownership and I wish to see it rise higher in the ranks so we can achieve the #1 TTT server, I feel becoming Head Administrator I can further assist in that goal more than I can now, as well as having an active owner really does improve overall morale and server progression.
Activity:
I’ve tried to be on ZARP once a day for a minimum of 30 minutes (excluding inactivity) and if I’m not on the server, I’m in the TeamSpeak, I’m so active I’m known for falling unconscious both on the server and on TS. Although LT are not required to be constantly active or doing reports, I feel it’s unfair to leave the burden to mods/admins, so I make sure to help.
I want to know everyone on both the server and TS, so occasionally I join random public channels and get to know the people in there, make myself friendlier and more approachable to people, as well as on the server, as I feel it’s my duty to play with potential staff members. (How can I vote on someone I’ve never played with?)
Attitude:
I try and keep a happy go lucky, un-serious attitude in public to keep myself as approachable and friendly looking as I can, though I do take reports on forums and in game serious and I’m quick to let someone know if they’ve done something wrong anywhere. No question is too hard, and no person is too annoying. I respect every user that I’ve met from ZARP and I make sure to be understanding about people’s situations, disabilities, gender identity etc.
I believe my time as a staff member has proven that I am more than capable of handling the Head Administrator role. I have had 0 officials, I currently have 0 report abuses. I’ve asked for some advice a few weeks before applying to see what I could be working on to improve and one of the things that kept coming up was I was too lenient towards bans, but I feel this is a core strength and is needed, as our staff team is very ban heavy and quick to ban for a week for 10 recents, so I feel my presence balances everything out.
Dedication/Helpfulness:
I make sure to take into account everything about a user when saying how I feel about them in meetings if they’ve applied, for example I won’t list names due to privacy, but it was clear a user had some form of mental handicap (more than likely Autism) and I explained thoroughly to every Lead Team member if they get accepted I’ll personally train them, and overwatch them, and if they break a rule or do something wrong, either let me speak to them or don’t be mean to them in the slightest, no tone raises nothing. I explained I have a sister with Autism and felt/feel only I’d be able to handle him and know what they actually mean/feel and how to get them to behave etc.
My level of dedication can be shown in other ways as well, such as the videos I make when applying, the tidiness of my text on the forums, I’ve attended every meeting since becoming SA except one where I was physically unable to attend due to being on a plane, and I made sure to give Henny my views on all applicants that were in that meeting before departure, I try to give my feedback to staff that have applied personally and what they can improve on rather than publicly, as I feel sometimes it can be taken as an attack if written on the forums, I’ve also been filling in the Spreadsheet and One Note when possible (people really fill it out fast).
Forums/Teamspeak Presence:
I am on Teamspeak every day. If not talking I’m easily poked and I’ll be there asking what’s up instantly, I leave my PC on most of the time so I can answer questions when I get home from work that any user may have had. As stated earlier in my application I occasionally join random public channels and meet the players, asking them an interesting fact about themselves, or something amazing they’ve done today.
Meetings:
I have attended almost every meeting since my time as a Moderator. I always add my input to every user that applies to any role (not always publicly) and will make my opinion heard. As said earlier in my application since receiving Super Administrator I have attended every single meeting as well. I include everything that has been brought to me through the week and I try to keep a fresh look at each applicant once other opinions arise as sometimes, I may just not notice/see a user do certain things. If I want to say yes to an application, yet the overall vote is no, I always try to understand why so I can further understand the verdict, rather than just blindly vote.
Experience:
I’ve been TTT Super Administrator for quite a while now, making sure I’m fully comfortable with my role before even attempting to write up my application for Head Administrator and have made it aware to Henny and House that I knew I wasn’t ready. Now I feel I am, I feel I’m comfortable with everything a Super Administrator can do, and I am open to learning new things and spreading my wings further.
Things I have handled:
I have handled punishment appeals, report abuses on staff members and everything in-between. I have dealt with unruly staff members in game appropriately, even just heated argument situations I have dealt with such as mentioned in my Super Admin application about Harrius and Kimmus. I have always informed staff and users what to do if they felt their punishment was unjust or given my opinion on where they could improve and have been fair in regard to every and all situations I have come across. I feel there’s always 2 sides to a coin and each side deserves to tell theirs. If you wish to see examples of how I handle, I’ll link everything I’ve handled in my time being Super Administrator.
