Gametracker is a pile of dogshit, logged around 3-4 hours in the past 2 days. Got proof of the current session so I'll upload it here. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1665989730 This logged part of last night's session, so I might as well include it. Estimated Server Time: Around 80-100 hours across all names. Languages I speak: English. Promotion Related Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin: Through my time as moderator, I've shown excellent competence in understanding when to use commands correctly, and knowing all commands. Due to my experience on SSRP, I'm greatly familiar with the FAdmin system, making me more experienced than the average Bhop moderator. Considering the rules are fairly easy to remember in comparison to other servers, I can say I've fully perfected my knowledge of the rules in my time as moderator, something that will greatly contribute to obtaining the Admin rank. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): I've encountered a fair few repeatedly racist individuals across Bhop and Jailbreak, the other server I was staff on. Obviously, repeated racism is a tough one for a moderator, as usually the correct course of action is to ban when it gets out of hand. I've been essentially helpless outside of constantly muting them whenever a racist term crops up in their chat, while with the rank of Admin I'd be able to issue a ban. If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: Hello, First of all I'd like to say congratulations on achieving the rank of Moderator! There are a few resources designed to assist you in the correct execution of your duties: Staff Attitude Staff Ethos The first thing I'd recommend you to do is familiarise yourself with both of the above posts, as they can be greatly useful when you're not sure of what exactly to do in certain situations. With that out of the way, let's move onto the commands on Bhop: Mute: Mute would be used in the case of a disrespectful or discriminatory user, or one who spams. You have two types of mute: voice mute (/voicemute <user> <time in seconds> <reason> or global mute in tab menu) and chat mute (/chatmute <user> <time in seconds> <reason> or mute in tab menu). Ensure that you use the correct command for the correct form of chat being abused. Freeze: Freezes the player in place so they can't move. The only real usage of this would be in the case of someone abusing an exploit which you need to stop immediately.. (/freeze <user> - /unfreeze <user> or freeze in tab menu) Slay: Kills the player. Again, should only really be used if the player is abusing an exploit. (/slay <user> <reason> or slay in tab menu) Kick: Kicks a player if they're consistently rulebreaking after multiple punishments. (/kick <user> <reason> or kick in tab menu) Strip weapons: Strips a user's weapons from them, only really to be used if they're spamming their gun. (/stripweapon <user> or strip weapons in tab menu) Good luck with being a staff member and ensure to only use these commands to enforce the rules. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Hello,
I've had a quick look through your appeal and I understand this is your first ban. I'm perfectly understanding of the fact that everyone makes mistakes, but my issue is that you made the same mistake twice and got yourself banned for it.
While this may be true, again, I'm very understanding of the irrational thoughts that can occur in someone's mind to lead them into doing something like this.
I'd be willing to accept your apology this time, however I may not be as kind in future. I hope you understand that cheating in any way is NOT tolerated at ZARP. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words): As much as this may seem a little early, I honestly feel confident enough to apply. The rules have been very easy to fully understand and learn, and the command system is very familiar to me, from my previous experience on SSRP. As an admin, multiple avenues for helping the server open up to me that would've been unavailable before, allowing me to perform my duties to my full extent. I've already been doing extra work for the server and holding the rank of Admin allows me to do that little bit more. My activity is a bit of a fucking joke tbf, however I know I'll be consistent and I know that I've proven in the past that my activity will be consistent. Obviously, I can't expect it to just be looked over so if I get denied I'll reapply in the coming week. |

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP BHOP! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application. This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting: Needs more activity. You can apply again at any time, and thanks for supporting ZARP! |
