Due to me changing names in the past, most of the total time in-game has been lost, and I cannot find it. Also keep in mind my gametracker times are somewhat broken regarding the time spent actively on the server, as I’ve been online for multiple hours every day for weeks.

How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
I’ve got a very big experience as an administrator during this time I’ve been one, as I’ve had the chance to deal with a huge number of F1 Requests, appeals and report abuses. There have been times where I’ve dealt with multiple situations in-game simultaneously, while keeping myself calm and focused. It’s been a trip but all trips must evolve, one way or another; and the only way my path can evolve is by handling the hardest and most delicate situations, regarding staff members themselves and hackers, where correct judgement is key and plays a decisive role. I’d also like to help more, seeing that from time to time I cannot deal with hackers, since it’s outside of my boundaries and my capabilities as a staff member.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
I’ll try to keep this plain and understandable, so it’s easy to read and to comprehend.
Patient
I would like to say I’m a very patient guy, even in nerve-racking situations I’m always able to hold myself before doing anything unreasonable or false. The people currently in the Lead Team know that I’ve had to deal with very complex and hard situations, and I’ve always held myself in a rather calm way, always taking the time to think before I act. This brings me into my next trait;
Thoughtful
I’m always thoughtful of every situation, no matter how hard or harsh it is; I’ve always done my best to think over any possible alternative and I’ve always strived for the best of the users involved in a situation. This is the most important trait of my personality and I’ve always put aside any personal conflicts regarding the people involved in any situation; Moreover, as a thoughtful person, it means that I’m not only less likely to make a wrong conclusion, but I’m also more willing to take in a situation more spherically.
Conscientious
I’m a very conscientious admin, always working very hard, especially now in these times where we lack online staff. I’ve always put staffing above RPing, and I dedicate at least 3 to 5 hours of staffing every single day, tending to the requests. I’ve also gotten to handle a huge amount of ban appeals and report abuses regarding staff members during this time I’ve been an Admin, and I’ve always shown myself to be professional, swift and fair. Some appeals have gone down a path where there’s a dispute between me and the staff member that punished a user, and we’ve always came to a fair conclusion, which leads me to my next point;
Agreeable
In most of the situations, I have a somewhat concrete position I take, always looking to bring back feedback and perhaps another point of view depending on the evidence provided with the appeal and the story for the ban reason. Though, always in the end me and the opposite staff member reach a fair conclusion that keeps all parties satisfied and protects the server and it’s interests; that’s because I’m an agreeable person who’s always looking to make reasonable arguments as to why somebody should or shouldn’t get banned or unbanned.
Extrovert
I’m an extrovert regarding issues yet I like to keep my attitude spartiatic when I’m dealing with any situation. I’m often looking to provide constructive criticism and I often express my worries regarding any subject I’d consider myself an expert on; I do it in a confident fashion, as I’m a thoughtful person; yet, I’m always willing to listen to the opposite side of an argument, which makes me more than fit for this position.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
A good example would be this. I managed to quickly and professionally resolve the pending issue, without causing any hassle while taking a weight off the LT. I’d like to argue I handled that situation flawlessly, and only goes to show my incredibly good judgement and way of handling report abuses.
Apart from this incident though, another one would be hackers from time to time but mostly report abuses for staff members in-game. These sort of situations solely require somebody of a higher rank so they can be resolved, especially the former and I’ve always tried to contact a Super Admin or Head Admin to quickly resolve the issue.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
I’d handle it how I would a normal report abuse, but with the most ultimate effort and care I can put regarding all aspects.
Firstly, I’d gather any evidence and carefully read the story multiple times, so I can understand what happened; if I failed to do the latter, I’d contact the reporter through steam so I can get his aspect and story one hundred percent accurately.
Afterwards, I’d get in touch with the reportee and fill him in on the story provided, as well as I’d present him with any evidence.
I’d ask him his side of the story right afterwards, looking to see if the staff member took any poor decisions or harmed the experience of other users by any extent. Depending on the validity of the report, the staff member’s actions and their severity, two possible outcomes can occur;
Accepted;
Thank you for making this report!
We’ve taken the time to look deeply into the issue, and as it turns out the staff member did in fact rulebreak, yet unintentionally as he was not aware of the rule. I’ve talked to the reportee, and it’s been settled to never happen again.
This won’t be brought up in the Lead Team Meeting, as he deeply apologizes and acknowledges his mistakes.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, this won’t be repeated. If it does, feel free to make another report.
Denied;
Thank you for making this report!
We’ve taken the time to look deeply into the issue, and as it turns out the staff member in question did nothing of the sorts described on the appeal. What he did is within the server rules and it isn’t not abuse by any extent either.
If you have any other fear that a staff member has been abusing or needs retraining, you can either contact me personally or you can make another report.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I’d send him a message on steam, or contact him by our server’s Teamspeak. Afterwards, I’d inform him of the situation that occurred, and explain to him calmly yet confidently that the ban time for the particular reason and person was excessive, and I’d ask him if he’s aware of the staff ethos and our expected behaviour. If he wasn’t aware, I’d simply cite him both of the pinned posts, and break it down with simple wording, so this issue can’t happen again.
Afterwards, I’d take action to reduce the ban time to what I deem fair for the user, taking into consideration the ban reason as well as his recents and the whole story regarding the situation.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I’d calmly either intervene or spectate and advise him on what he should do.
If I did the former, I’d kindly ask him to stand back for a second and spectate a good example for handling situations regarding this issue. Afterwards I’d ask him if he has any questions regarding the particular scenario, and if he did I’d do a thorough breakdown so he can fully understand and never struggle again; although, if he did, I’d go out of my way to help him once again.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I’d intervene into the situation and try to calm down the person who was making the claims. Afterwards, I’d happily sit with him in-game, or over steam or over our Teamspeak so he can express his worries to me, along with any other evidence, and we can resolve the pending issue democratically and fairly for all parties.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I’d intervene into the situation and try to calm down all parties involved. Afterwards, I’ll take my time to sit down and listen to any annoyances and worries as well as more serious issues there might possibly exist.
Afterwards, depending on the severity of the situation and available evidence, I’d take appropriate action against anyone who has harmed another fellow staff member beyond a reasonable doubt.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
Assuming he’s doing very severe actions rather intentionally, I’d act as the following;
First, I’d talk to him by the quickest means possible; whether that is in-game, Steam, Teamspeak or Discord, I’d go for it so I can resolve the situation as efficiently and as swiftly as possible. Afterwards, I’d fill him in on the fact that these sort of actions are not tolerated, especially from staff members, and I’d bring him up on the Lead Team Meeting.
As a final part to my application, I’d like to elaborate about my personal aspirations regarding me becoming Super Admin;
Within the SSRP staff team, a well known problem is the fear administrators and moderators have for the Lead Team as a whole. I personally want to fight this problem.
Here are the actions the LT can take as a team;
A great move me and other LT members can do to help bridge the gap, would be to more easy to reach through the main platform we use, which is Steam.
Another great move would be that the LT stays more in-game and actually feels like they’ve got a presence, since the appearance of a high ranking staff member not only is a deterrent for rulebreakers, it’s very well an encouraging mechanism for regular staff.
Regarding staff who don’t handle F1 Requests while an SA+ is in-game, perhaps other than simply saying “do F1s” in admin chat, it’d be a really good move for the higher ranking staff to give the other staff members the kick-start, as well as bringing up staff who consistently avoid doing F1s when they’re stacked in the LT meeting.
Another good measure would be frequent moderation of how the staff members handle situations, something isn’t much actively enforced as much.
Also, the LT should make the staff members in question feel calm and not fearful if they made a poor decision regarding a ban, so that they’d always ask for help if they’re doubtful .
Thank you for reading. It’d mean the world to me if you could please provide constructive criticism, so I can get better, regardless if I get the position or not.
Thank you again for reading.
