Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
A situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command is when a player keeps breaking certain rules after being warned many times. For example if someone Mass RDMs one round, gets warned, slayed and a staff member sents them the rules, then when he plays again he Mass RDMs, i think a day ban would be enough for him to learn from his mistakes. Or if someone Mass RDMs/Ghosts and LTAPs.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Depends on the Player's Appeal. If he seems really sorry and seems like he wants to play and will never cheat again, then i would most likely accept his appeal BUT (!) i would keep an eye on him. If he ever gets caught cheating again and i ban him, his next appeal would have VERY slim chances in getting accepted. Oh, and if he appeals like 1 day after i banned him (his first ban) then i don't think i would accept his appeal. He needs more time.
My response exactly would be:
Hello (Player)!
Since this is your first Ban, you seem very sorry and you promised that you won't cheat again, i came in the conclusion to Accept your appeal. But, i will be keeping an eye on you the following weeks. If you ever get caught cheating again you will be banned again and the next time your appeal, your chances of it getting accepted will be very slim.
Here you can take another look at the rules.
Thank you for appealing and you will be unbanned shortly.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):.
As i said in my Moderator application, i have experience in staffing before so i know how to use ULX and when it's appropriate to use certain commands. I also love handling reports and whenever i join the server i try to handle atleast 20. With the Admin powers though, i will be able to be more efficient when it comes to staffing. As a mod there's not really much you can do if someone is not willing to follow the rules (and you don't want to break staff ethos.). Honestly, i think i will do only good in the team and i will also be way more active on TS and at the forums handling as many reports and appeals as i can.
Extra Information: (Not Required)
1) I know it looks powerhungry applying the next week right after i got accepted as moderator, but after talking with some Lead Team members, they told me that i actually have chances in getting accepted if i show that i am doing a good job. I honestly believe i am mature and experienced enough to handle Admin powers and just want to be able to help the server even more.
2) My apologies for not being able to play on Wednesday. I went to a Doctor for a pretty serious health problem that i have and had to study for a Test (which i wrote today) right when i came back home. But hey, Real Life > Video Games
