Someone new joins the server, explain how you would show them how to B-hop: Firstly, I would explain they need to jump in the air and hold space then hold either A or D while moving their camera left or right respectively. I would tell them they can spectate me or somebody else to see how it should look. Lastly I could also link them a good youtube tutorial on bunny hopping and air strafing properly.
Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming: I would verbally warn them to stop spamming, if this horrible behavior continued I would mute them. Perhaps if they continue doing it again and again I would keep muting them and ask for a higher up to ban them!
Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server: First I would tell them to stop doing what they are doing and then I would check their rapsheet to see if this is their first rodeo. If they have a history of exploiting, or if the exploit is a severe one in the first place, I would immediately contact a higher ranking staff member with ban powers!
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words): I am an awesome staff member with years of experience of staffing on various zarp servers and other communities! Recently I have been enjoying BHOP so hard that I had to apply for staff to stop all the pesky rulebreakers on the server. To be quite honest, the server is in dire need of new staff members and I am willing to take the task upon me.
Extra Information: (Not Required) If my unlawfully and unconstitutionally locked previous application without a verdict is still considered "valid", i hereby withdraw and revoke that application!

Time - I got perm banned about 2 and a half years ago
Story - I was quiting garrys mod and i was 15 at the time so in my head i figured i would get in that much trouble. I decided to kick people in the server with no reason and i was banned the same day. I finally got back on and wanted to join and now cant.

⭐ Deathrun "New Gamemode" Update ⭐The Deathrun server will be updating at 7 PM GMT on Saturday, 03/02/2024.
In this update we'll be adding a new gamemode "Free Mode" and an accompanying SSJ module.
Free Mode - The New Gamemode
Think of Free Mode as another gamemode or "style" for Deathrun, like how "Practice", "Legit" and "Unreal" are different gamemodes or "styles" on BHOP / Surf, for example.
But what is "Free Mode"?
Free Mode, is as it's name implies, a gamemode in which you are essentially Free-Running without restrictions like ...velocity restriction and the normal round structure. An option to play Deathrun in an alternative way.
- Without going into too much technical detail -
Free Mode is a free-roaming, Free-Running gamemode that allows you to set records. You will be able to enter Free Mode upon joining the server, if you want to practice the maps, or whenever you die and would otherwise just spectate or get bored of the normal round structure. Free Mode offers to be "what if Surf/BHOP but Deathrun" and can be treated as a fully alternative way to play Deathrun, or as a simple mini-game activity while waiting for a new round to start (like Ghost Mode but like wayyy better).
!free - To enter and leave Free Mode
!stay - To toggle staying in or being moved out of Free Mode when a new round starts
There's also some customization options to your Free Mode experience you can find in the F2 Settings under Free-Mode Settings.
Players on the Free Mode team will be referred to as "Free-Runners", because that seems like the most fitting name.
The rules will be reworked to accommodate this version of Free-Running.
Now, this isn't a very easy to work with addon on a technical level. For that reason only a select list of maps will be available for the initial weeks of this update going live. All of which should work decently with Free Mode. SSJ - SPEED ON SIXTH JUMP
SSJ for Deathrun who would have thought. Althought I thought it would fit well with Free Mode, it could have been added earlier since other servers seem to usually have it regardless if they have other special modes.
It displays information like jumps made, your velocity, average velocity, sync and height in the chat.
It's just a normal SSJ module in that sense. It also has some customization options you can find in the F2 Settings.
The image is just an sample of what it looks like. By default it displays information on every sixth jump.

I've been on and off the bhop server for a few years, I mostly go on to just relax. Went on around 10/15 minutes ago and I got kicked for hacking (which I thought was strange but thought it was probably just an error or a network issue), I relogged and it must've flagged again as I then got perma banned.
I don't use anything to hack, at most I have a crosshair addon that I use on some other servers, but that wasn't enabled when I was online.
I enjoy being on the server, like I said I use it to relax and just play it casually, I'd hate to have been banned for something I've not done.
So, today i joined the bhop server like everyday. I looked at my daily objectives and one of them was low gravity. i pressed f3 and selected it. I started bhoping and got kicked for "hacking". I thought to myself this must be a glitch so i reconnected did the same and got banned. I dont use any hacks.

on the 1st of September i was sent a program by a player from another server outside of this community that allows you to bunny hop in any server.
as no one was Rping i just started hopping trying to jump from roof to roof Chute and Redpowder i told them immediately i had the hack but that i did not use it on the zarp server. That right there was a straight up lie. I indeed use it on the server and i do regret using it.
I knew that they could see that i used a hack because i had acces to the anti cheat my self and i could see that i successfully Bhopped 8 times multiple times in a row. I kept on the lie Because i panicked. I have ADHD and Assperger syndrome, i want to tell every one this is not a excuse and i will never use my disorder and syndrome as a excuse I have sinned and i have Confessed and i will take what ever punishment will be given to me

I am active on the forums every day. I enjoy commenting and joining in on discussions that either enlighten the forums, or are just... cringe. I like too look at the forums because the majority of the time, im usually filled in with information or news related to the community, which i do like having that connection to the zarp. I have been Admin on SSRP twice in the past and am currently Admin. I have also been a Moderator on BHOP.
Standing and Communication
I have been part of the community regularly since 2016. I mainly play SSRP and have previously played a few pointshop servers. My communication with the community seems positive, as I regularly speak to Faithful who is a community manager, and we often chat about how great the zarp community is. I also feel respected and return the respect to the community.
Why these sections
Whenever i handle an appeal or report abuse, i usually message a member of staff in that section to lock and move the thread. This will solve me hassling the staff members. I would also love to moderate these sections and general discussion.

I think any recent hacking bans should stay in place whilst other ones (e.g. 3 month bans or more) should be lifted. Not sure it would be ideal to start unbanning those that were just recently punished for hacking, due to evident reasons.

Yep, id guess that they are only unbanning those who were permed on the old policy years ago but even the new policy is still too lenient because even you cheat more than 3 times you arent permed, imo the 2nd/3rd offence should be a permanent unappealable ban (yes im aware this is hypocritical as fuck)
i dont think its too lenient, i think its absolutely ridiculous that baxter somehow got unbanned after being clipped bhopping for 4 minutes straight for "not enough proof" (nothing against u baxter but it was also ur 6th ban)
the bans were "unliftable" yet even after the LT voted on the ban with the evidence, the vote happened again and he was unbanned (then got auto detected same day)

When I found out that they were going to go through not only Baxter’s ban and everyone else’s cheating bans too, I had to jump ship. I’m not going to sit in complete silence, I didn’t bother creating a resignation thread to avoid drama but this is one of the many reasons why I resigned. I gave up and I am not wasting my time trying to save the server from the overwhelming amount of cheaters considering they are essentially the entire player base these days anyways (when people decide to play again, that is..).
Also I made the bhop video private, to prove a point that how things are ran here are completely illogical and shitty - they literally will never care about this and will only ever continue making further fuck ups, for example wiping bans now, truly tragic. This is all a big fucking joke and I say this with all due respect, because I’ve tried ensuring things are done properly but the people who are truly in charge simply do not care about the quality of the server enough in some aspects that are pretty crucial, such as a so-called “anticheat” that can’t even detect running a lua script or hell, even a lua run from a cheat client. The fact Baxter got caught out within 24 hours of having his ‘dispute’ accepted is fucking hilarious to me and makes the entire LT look like a joke, because they really don’t have any idea and that is the harsh and sad reality of it all. Nothing personal, but things need to improve severely however I doubt this will ever happen which sucks a lot but oh well.
This is a first on me speaking out since stepping down, I always hope for the best in the community and the server, if I didn’t then why on earth would I come back and spend hours upon hours working on map updates and other stuff? Let my post be a harsh but very honest and critical prospective.
Crossing our fingers, Faithful is the only staff up there that actually knows SSRP to an extent where you could have a significant impact, if he doesn't do something about hackers who could ?
I'm afraid that the unban wave is in-fact Faithful's first CM scheme that he's putting into effect - Not sure how much the rest of the Community Team had an impact on the plan itself (and whether Faithful in favour or against unbanning hackers); But I'm confident that they will be reasonable enough to listen to the overwhelming cries of all these community members on this thread and reconsider their decision in regards to who's bans will be affected by the planned unban wave.
Realistically, no one wants hackers (especially reoffending ones) anywhere near the servers.
Yea cause remember when katje got unbanned and everyone flipped out? Yea notice how that didn't have an impact it was only Xnator that caused him to be rebanned. The communities voice isn't heard lmao

If y'all think he deserved unbanning after what he did (and btw it was community outrage that got him rebanned, not me specifically) then you should rethink your moral compass. His unban was one of the final straws behind why I dipped.
