There does not need to be ANY sign to show you own the base.

There is no RULE anywhere that states that you are not allowed to be AFK and own a door, meaning staff should not be selling doors, based on AFK players

Indeed, there's no rule against it. Staff generally sell doors if they're not using the base and if they're AFK.
But either way, the staff member should AT LEAST talk to the owner of the base before selling it.

Does it matter? Admins aren't supposed to sell doors for this reason anyway, or at the very least not as quickly as they currently do. Being AFK for 10 minutes should never result in losing your door regardless of whether you're approached beforehand or not.

EDIT: Although I do appreciate you trying to handle this report with the best care it deserves. Speaking to AJ first is the smart thing to do and my comments should in no way discourage you.

People you are missing the point here, there is no proof that henning owned the doors but also no proof that Ajerickson107 unowned the doors. It could have been someone else then Ajerickson107 bought them so I think that there need to be proof for this report to be valid like any other report and especially since it says demote in the title. If you'd know the proper processes of demoting a staff member you'd know that there isn't a single chance of this staff member getting demoted.

Also, Ajerickson has admitted to doing this with his comments on the thread. No evidence is needed as the staff member has made it clear that the story is true.

From what I spoke to you about over steam we have come to a conclusion on how to make it appear you are occupying the base you own even when you tab out. When you buy the doors you have to occupy it otherwise buying the doors would be useless.

Since some staff/users seem to think it is abuse (selling the doors based upon them not being in use and not afk) Me and AceInsidious will be bringing up in the meeting to make some what of a rule to clear this up so it can be enforced without seeming as 'abuse'.

Thanks for your report none the less Ill let the staff know until there is a rule to make more of an effort to contact you rather than just waiting what appears to be 10mins
