What did the Staff Member(s) do?: I filed a report for what I believed was a violation of the rules then proceeded to pretty rude. He continued to argue in his own defence with an attitude that was incredibly cavalier, and then had the gall to ban me for being disrespectful once I'd finally had enough of it. The final ban was for "false reports and disrespect". I only filed one report which was justifiable, and the disrespect first came from the admin.

Initially the admin wasn't on duty and as the first picture shows he starts off laughing at the situation with the words 'trolololo'.

Once he revealed himself as an admin he continually tried to defend his actions while I gave my side, throughout this he kept saying 'so gg' as though he had ended everything and his say was final. When I asked him for proof of his claims that he'd scanned the base, he simply responded nonchalantly with "I don't need to prove it".

By this point I'd grown weary of the argument I could see I wouldn't win with this admin. I expressed my feelings and the admin responded rudely with "lmao don't make me laugh". This was the final straw and I said something along the lines of 'fuck you' at which point the admin banned me for false reports and disrespect, even though the report had merit and he was himself being somewhat disrespectful.

Admittedly yes, I was in the end disrespectful, however only after being treated unfairly by this admin. At the very least I feel I should have been warned and not banned, as one 'false' report and swearing isn't a patch on some of the stuff that occurs on this server.

hey man I know this admin too he has been really unfair sometimes and it gets annoying but you got to understand a lot of admins are unfair usually so you have to understand that even when u do report you have to have so much more proof sadly :I I too feel like something should be done

I guess I might as well tell my side. So I went to the gas station and was stood on top of the wall. I look up to see a wanted guy looking down at me with a shotgun. I then decided that I need to get this guy that is wanted and holding an illegal weapon, so I scan the corner of the base to see if they had anything else in the base which they did, I then began my raid on their base.

I ran up to the front door to be greeted by Smonorkith holding a shotgun, I thought to myself that I have no chance of getting close to him and arresting him so I will kill him and continue my raid. I killed him and started to go up the stairs where I got gunned down.

I respawned in the PD and thought I will go down and laugh at the criminals because they are doing time. Smonorkith then told me that he is going to report me to a admin which made me laugh because I am a admin and know full well that I didn’t break any rules and he didn’t know the rules.

He then constantly told me that I RDMed him and that I never scanned his base and I had no right to raid his base. I tried to explain to him that I did scan his base and I had every right to raid his base if he had a wanted person in his base and was holding an illegal weapon.

He continued to call me a liar and told me to “Fuck off” where I then said this is enough, this player needs an hour ban to understand that he can’t make false reports without knowing any rules and outright abuse me.

I've read the rules. There's literally nothing in there about false reports and it clearly states that guards can own any weapon. Therefore I couldn't possibly have been holding an illegal weapon. Besides which, I did nothing hostile that would have warranted being shot at. I continually tried to retreat into my base whereupon you shot at me. From this point I attempted to defend myself, as per server rules.

I asked for proof of you scanning my base because of the mere seconds between me closing my door and you storming in to attack me. Having played as SWAT and police, I know that the scanners make noise and that the process takes more time than you took before rushing in.

difference between rules and in game laws. for instance guards can have any gun they want according to the rules but doesn't mean by in game law they can.



Unlike the priest who isn't allowed any gun and can be warned by a staff member for FailRP.




Also if you would have read the rules you would know i dont have to ask you why you are wanted.

Given the fact that there was no law board at the time, nor was there any list stating which guns are 'legal' or 'illegal' and the fact that there was no mayor at the time, it's simply unacceptable to say I was holding an illegal weapon. It also did not go unnoticed that you completely ignored the fact that there's nothing in the rules even mentioning 'false' reports. (True as of the update of 15/10/2014)

Topping this all off is the simple fact that you shot me before trying to tazer/arrest me, which, when one has defended their base from a raid can very easily and understandably construed as an attempt to rdm. This could have been avoided by a simple sorry when I placed the ticket. Anybody else would have done it. But you dragged it out into an argument wherein you claimed you didn't need to prove anything, continually spoke in a tone of haughty disdain and then banned me for being rude and 'false reports' which is a completely made up rule.

Personally, I feel that this banter is only further amplified by DCXs reasonable response. I feel that the banter bus was driving strong that day and DCX was driving.

No. This isn't banter. This is a case of your 'super admin' assuming an attitude of superiority. As though he's better than anybody else who plays the game. As though he's some infallible machine that can do no wrong. The fact is, he was speaking in a very offhand manner and then proceeded to ban under made up rules when I'd become fed up of being talked down to.

What part of how I've acted in this thread is remotely ban worthy? I've argued forth my points reasonably and civilly and I've been met with complete disregard. This is offensive. His ban was completely unjustified. It even states in the admin guide for ZARP DarkRP that 'disrespect' is a minor offense. Only major offenses are deemed instantly ban worthy, of which I committed none.

I see no fantastic money making strategy here, also heads up when a person says F%&k off to another person,the other person won't take it lightly...

Wow, i don't think you understand that you are in the wrong, also The owners of Zarp don't care if you are a potential customer or not that's not going to give you sympathy points. Zarp would rather have a nice community rather then have a a rule breaker that payed to play

Also your statement claiming that our community commits cronyism is false. Members are sent through a thorough testing phase before moving on to the next stage. We test them on all aspects of being staff.

It also has no basis in fact because DCX and Jaggerbull previously did not know each other and only became friendly after they had both achieve staff rank.
