The name "Tigger" is not racist or racist loopholing, simple as.
I used to do this shit of assuming someone is trying to loophole racism, but it is an assumption you cannot make. The name itself has absolutely no links or connotations of racism, and therefore it cannot be considered loopholing.
There is a line between enforcing the zero tolerance policy and just going way too far. I myself have crossed that line several times in the past, and this is a prime example of where such a thing has happened.

I think the point was that once you write it down its ridiculous that he would do all that to bait staff, not that he actually did it.

This whole thing about What is considered Loophope for racism falls in 2 categories

Context and Personal interpretation

There are some words out there that are just derived from the N word and have a racial description , not gonna go and say the words but you get the point

And Personal Interpretation is how the staff member in question sees the name and decides to act on it . No 2 staff members will have the exact same opinion , whilst one will consider that name to be racist and offensive , the other may think " I don't see a problem with it "

For instance there is a person on the server named Nybrownie , a name that I personally see as loopholing but others don't .

I for one don't see Tigger as being loopholing as it is in fact a cartoon character , but here is when the staff interpretation comes in

You having the history of racism and stuff Henry , staff members will be quick to judge on your intentions of having that name .

Surely this shouldn't be allowed though? I join with a name that staff thinks is offensive (even though it obviously isn't), but don't say anything offensive. Why should I get a month-long ban for it.

If this whole situation was different, let's say I was baiting staff and player in chat for example, then perhaps a ban would be justified. I didn't however. Even when I was told to change my name, I replied in admin chat, hoping to receive a genuine response and not cause arguments among players.

That is the issue here, assuming off past experiences. A flawed staffing strategy in certain situations such as this one. Also on personal interpretation if you think the name “Tigger” is loopholing even when they have the character as their profile picture you would have to make a very large stretch to justfiy it. This instance is a borderline bias against the person because of past experience. Blatantly obvious too, because nothing about the situation pointed to him being racist except for the fact it was him! That is the only justification I have seen this entire time “It was loopholing because it John Henry.” I think that is absurd.

No ban or kick should have been issued.

As a staff member that is not what anyone should be doing. Like I said earlier it was just assumed based on who he was which is a clear biased against certain players by staff on the server. It should never be assumed, it should be a know. The way you know is through context of its usage not who used it.
