No they don't, most users don't have CS:S. The maps you see on prophunt have been using the standard HL2 textures provided in the FastDL.

No they don't, most users don't have CS:S. The maps you see on prophunt have been using the standard HL2 textures provided in the FastDL.

I think you mean provided in gmod itself.
Maps will not be added that need CSS content, as we had an issue where it fucked the playercount as nobody had the content. We will only add maps where the content is all packaged into the map or provided from the FastDL, as otherwise we lose a large proportion of the playercount.

The ability to autoslay players
How / why would it benefit the Prophunt server:
If someone was ghosting, you would forceteam them to the other team and give them an autoslay to give them more incentive to stop ghosting

Killing props refresh your health
How / why would it benefit the Prophunt server:
Makes it better for the hunters when there are low props
Potential Issues/Exploits:
Could be abusable when there are a lot of people on
Additional notes:
Most prop hunt servers already have this feature and especially on some maps like the beach house it's hard to pinpoint the props without having to lose a lot of health points

New weapon/multi-tool.
THE ADMIN GUN

Pros
Allows you to shoot a target to fspec/slay for door blocking or ghosting etc.
Cons
Miss-use
Accidentally shooting the wrong person


It is a pain in the arse to have to constantly be typing in things like fspec and slay. It would be far easier if we could continue playing and just have an admin tool that allows us to do what we need to, without ruining our own games too. And who knows, if it is possible, we could even add more functions for lead team members. Like FREEZE MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!

How / why would it benefit the Prophunt server:It's a very boring map, it would save a lot of time not loosing the will to live.

Potential Issues/Exploits: Some "nono staff" might be triggerd

Additional notes: It has one fucking room with no spots. Then there's some fun toilets with no hiding. So the map is just another waste of time :)

When you get to a high enough level there are a lot of "useless" weapons and the weapon wheel gets crowded with no real reason.

We should of course be able to chose more than just one weapon

When we launched Prophunt it was actually one of (if not the) most popular maps. I wouldn't know how it held up, however Gametracker seems to suggest that he map is popular even now.

I like this map. Not so many people like it though, but it is over very quickly. It's a good xp/point mining map. and tbh there are plenty of places to hide if you know the map well. I think rather than removing it, we should maybe add to it and make it something much better?

the only problem here is that Prop hunt does not have a map developer, if we did then we could possibly improve the map
