If he's doing GCSEs then surely he won't be able to handle being an admin on 2 or 3 servers. I think it would be for the best if he applied for the ranks again after the exams are over, because GCSEs are more important than being an admin on a gaming server.

I think his demotion was very unfair, just like when tigz got demoted from sa (some people might remember). He should get his rank back since he was a great staff member

How was that an Unfair demote everybody?
If he can't help our server for over 1 month how is that unfair demote?

Making posts to defend him and his inactivity doesn't help him at all, it just causes kaos and unneeded tension between the community. Wonderly knows that when he's ready to start being active again he's more than welcome to apply. He was a great staff member and I'm sure that would be considered when he applies again.

Side note: The staff list is about to get shorter because of inactivity lets hope they all don't make a post asking why.

After he was demoted he did not seem to care, we even got you to go and ask him Sponge remember? he should have came to us if he was upset about it but we demoted him after him saying he wont be on and he don't care if he gets demoted. End of.

I'm aware that the thread is locked, but I'll give you the (brutally honest) truth. ZARP is a community which aims to offer a place for people to play, and as such, to keep that play fair and fun for everyone, we offer the opportunity for volunteers to help staff them. But by no means are we here to help people have power, and that's why if the people who are supposed to help in our goal to provide an enjoyable gaming environment aren't actually here to do that - they will often lose their rank, as they can't help us to do so. We haven't kicked Wonderley from the community, just the staff team, and he is welcome to reapply for staff as soon as he is ready.

He claimed that you wouldn't care about the demotion, and that it was our decision - typically, such circumstances would warrant leniency on an inactivity demotion, but not when no commitment is shown at all. At least 2 weeks have now elapsed since your demotion, and during that time he hadn't lifted a finger until now to tell us about the concern.
