I wasn't in this meeting due to me having been busy but I would like to suggest something that a lot of players do. Don't apply again without waiting a week or two, a lot of people apply directly after getting denied which shows that they are impatient and immature. I hope you don't give up on becoming a staff member here and good luck!

I would just like to ask, if I got denied because of bans how may I fix this error because this isn't just not rule breaking or knowledge of the rules I can't just learn how to delete my History? Hope you understand what I'm trying to say and thanks for your answers.

There is no need to create a thread like this. You can always come on the TS3 servers and talk to the Staff members personally.

Useless post that is not needed. We appreciate your change in attitude but do not think making a post is relevant or necessary. If you take onboard the comment left on why you were denied and change your attitude and fix the problems stated then you should be good to go as the staff will naturally notice and mention it at the next meeting.

It doesn't actually show impatience and immaturity. If someone is denied because they needed to learn all the rules but have not broken any and show good potential as a staff member then they will be given the week from the meeting they got denied to improve on this. The date at which they post the app during that week makes no impact on how the staff team see them unless they are someone who actually shows immaturity and impatience otherwise they would seem like an eager and prepared player applying.

At the end of the day if he only needs to improve on a little thing then applying shortly after being denied would not change the outcome at the meeting as it is a minor thing.

Hahahaha! Show me one person who got accepted after applying directly after just getting denied or in the same week. Most people consider it immature since you need to be patient and not keep applying in hope of getting accepted without you working on your flaws, also most staff think you need at least 2 weeks to change some think you even need more.

I would just like to say that I am unable to go in the TS3 at the moment so I wanted to get some help, oh and LazyBro unless I'm missing something on my Application but it says I got denied for "bans" now unless again I'm being stupid or am by reading this correctly but I dont see how I am ment to help what has already happened I mean it's not like I can stop what has already happened. But thank you all for your feedback and JohnnySmith I will add you on steam as soon as I am able to and thank you for your support!

You are asking me to go down the endless list of staff that were accepted even when they posted their app directly after being denied time? Feel free to join the TS and ask some of the current staff how many times they applied and if they were directly after 1 another. I would also like to ask which admin you are and what your name on TS is because you must be pretty new here at ZARP JohnnySmith if you have not seen anyone get accepted after posting an app directly after being denied. Anyway we had a mod named AdleyGuerin and he applied directly after being denied and got accepted next time around so there is an example off the top of my head.
Just read your join date, I understand now why you wouldn't understand that applying directly after being denied has little impact. Oh well :)

Well then you have to think about what the reasons you were banned for and show you have learned from your mistakes otherwise the issue is not resolved and applying directly after would be useless. My statement was only to show that this post was not needed if you thought about it. If we had a post like this for every mod applicant that got denied then we would have to create a whole new section for it because people get denied at every meeting and usually will just add a staff member on steam or go onto TS to ask how to improve. Your original post was not a question just a statement of no use, would've been better if you started with the question. Anyway I hope I answered it by telling you to show that you learned from your ban reasons.

I've ask manny staff members... And even Dcx suggested to evil to not apply directly.. A guy got about 5 - supports just for applying directly after the staff meeting. Please, don't judge me as I didn't judge you.. I joined 6 weeks ago, is that wrong? I'm pretty sure 6 staff meetings are neon laugh for me to understand how everything works around here.

I realise that if you did a post like this for everyone who got denied would be a handful and be a pain but I'm not asking every super admins and every staff member to answer this I was just looking for some advice towards what I should do now and how to improve, I don't believe this post is useless because it has shown me who is willing to help people like me who want to improve there attitude on Zarp and LazyBro I dknt believe it's correct to call someone's post pointless when all there trying to do is improve there chances of the next time they apply and looking for ways so that next time they don't get denied I'm sorry that I want to improve, I hope I haven't offended anyone and I would like to say a huge thanks to JohnnySmith for giving me good quality advice and beig a really friendly character even over a forum post! Have a nice day everyone,

Oh and on top of everything I feel that you LazyBro believe your "better" then everyone else and to be fair it's patronising and offensive please dont say stuff like " just read your join date, I understand now why you wouldn't understand that applying directly after being denied has little impact" because this isn't fair just because he has been staff as long as you doesn't mean he is inferior or lower then you.

Ok allow me to clarify this. Applicants for mod are all different. Some are denied for being immature and thought of as unfit to handle the responsibility. Some are denied because they need an extra week to revise the rules and have a perfect set of qualities for the mod rank. To say to someone they should not apply directly after being denied without a following explanation to that individual person is stupid and misleading. I am staff on the forums so I can help people and stop information being put across that is just untrue. I mentioned your join date since you are a new staff member and have not seen as many staff being accepted, denied, resign and demoted as I have. I understand that because you are new that you do not know that the information you gave Flapjack about reapplying directly after being denied is false and that is why I made the reply.
Flapjack wrote:

That is not why I called this post pointless. Asking for help and suggestions is perfectly fine when you start the main post with the question and ask for a response. You however did not and that is what made me post a reply.

I did not claim he was inferior to me in any way. I simply said that he has less time in the community and did not understand that a large portion of the staff today are actually re applicants that were denied the first time around and reapplied almost immediately after.
Flapjack although I might come across as a dick sometimes I am only doing it to get the point across that the information he gave out was incorrect and should not discourage you to reapply soon after being denied. If you are not happy about my post then I apologize but my point is still valid and doesn't change.

LazyBro not to be patronising I ony want to help but I think you might want to look at how you talk to people because it can come across as patronising and very dickish. I understand that my original post wasn't a question but the question rises up and you have actually answered it you have just tried to prove JohnnySmith wrong who has actually been doing his job (helping me) so please answer the question stated which was how can I sort out the problem of I have been banned and how can I fix this? And please if you disagree with JohnnySmith please talk to him personally but tbh I believe him and agree with what he says if I keep applying it's silly because I'm not improving! This isn't just learning the rules it's proving I have learnt from my mistakes which takes longer then a week!

I never really needed to try and prove JohnnySmith wrong as it was easily done. He can help you all he wants but what he said was not thought out and was false. I had to prove him wrong and correct his mistake. His statement about not applying afterwards was not a unique one to you it was summing up all applicants. If you are failing to understand this then you best leave it at this because it won't go anywhere at this rate.

Applying after being denied is the least of your problems when applying for staff. TiGzTeR who is a SuperAdmin applied straight after being denied and got accepted. I am certain there was no mention of it. There are more examples of this but I can't be bothered digging them up.
If someone gives out bad info to people applying for staff then I couldn't care less if I sound like a dick when setting the record straight.
Your question has been answered and my point has been made, this is the last reply I am making and will leave this topic open for another hour or two before locking it. Proving a point shouldn't be so difficult.

LazyBro I understood your point from the first reply but I believe JohnnySmith about not applying straight away and tbh it's not hurting me of I wait? (If I am wrong please tell me!) but I am unable to play for alittle bit so I toke this time to try and get as much feedback and to improve my chances of getting Mod next time I applied, I didn't mean to offend anyone I just want to understand how to help my bans situation because I am taking this application and becoming a Mod very seriously but thank you LazyBro for your replys although I may think they were harsh they were helpful thank you again and

wow I guess this did get popular if Chris commented XD have a nice day lads
